Looking at the Ford Pass App, I see no way to order the $995 torque upgrade for my 2023 GT, but I read it is available. Any suggestions?

You don't. You speak with your wallet and you tell Ford to shove subscriptions like that far, far up their Blue Oval.

It is not a subscription. It is a one time purchase for that VIN, like buying a camshaft and having it installed. ??

I'm gong to piggy back on this thread. I'm looking at a 2024 GT. The one on the dealer lot doesn't have the performance upgrade. But no problem, right? It's strictly software?

I see the window sticker for others say it's 795 for the upgrade. Is it really an extra 200 to do it later?

Lastly, can I use my reward points to get the upgrade? I got 15k points, plus whatever I get on the purchase of the Mach-E. Still might not be enough though. Looks like points aren't worth much.

Not sure why the stickers are saying $795 unless there is another package that offsets it a little. ?‍♂?

FordPass reward points are worth one-half of a cent. 15K points are worth $75 in parts or services. ??

I cannot believe they are not selling it on all trims…
I know a lot of people who would pay for that.

I think it's a great way to fry your HVBJB sooner!

The performance upgrade is only available on the GT because it is the only model that has the hardware to support it. ??

Well that’s a good point.
that being said - if Ford can create software to boost one trim level, why not others?

Same reason as above- hardware limitations.

The electric motors are only capable of a certain amount of power.

However…..
The 2024 LR AWD model also got a torque bump to 500 lb/ft and is significantly faster than prior years. (0-60 in 4.1 seconds now)

So basically they DID boost the “other” trim levels for 2024.

Hmmm... Since this is a software purchase, should there a return policy? Try it out for 2 weeks or 2,000 miles, whichever comes first?

I know there isn't a return policy, but I can try out a video game and return it if I don't like it. Why not a software package on a car?

Steve is correct in that other packages offset the price of the Performance upgrade. If you order the GT with either the Bronze Appearance Package or the 20" Machine-Face Aluminum Wheels with the summer tires, the price for the Performance upgrade is $745. If you have neither of these upgrades when the car was built or purchase the upgrade after you receive the car, it is $995.

The $745 is essentially paying for an extended warranty. They'll cover the additional stress on the motor/HVBJB for owners who elect to pay the extra cost.
