Excellent video and soooo simple. I ordered the filter suggested and did the job in less than ten minutes, including the time spent cleaning out my glovebox.

***WARNING***
the tabs holding the filter door are fragile and will easily break. Carefully move them away from filter door, do not use much force. The door is also being secured by the cable mentioned in the video.

IMO, this is a good application for a reusable filter, like a K&N. I find the filtering performance acceptable in this application, you can clean as often as you like, and will save you some $$ over the years. I have one in my Maverick, and will put one in the MME in about a year.

Just replaced ours this week. Good cheap filters available on Amazon no reason not to replace annually.

I just bought my 2nd on Amazon ($22, Pureflow Cabin Air Filter PC99542X). I'm replacing them every 2 years. Pretty easy to replace.
