Considering that contactor failures seem to be predominant issue, I think it might be useful to try and build a rough dataset around this problem to help those that experience this failure understand what they can expect if/when it happens to them.
If you had a HVBJB (contactor) failure, please consider posting the following:
4. Did your failure occur pre or post recall software update (22S41)?
EDIT: If your Mach-E was not towed, you are welcome to include it, provided that the diagnosis was a faulty HVBJB.
If you had a HVBJB (contactor) failure, please consider posting the following:
1. Your Mach-E trim level (e.g. Select, Premium, GT, GTPE) and drivetrain (RWD or eAWD)
2. Date when your Mach-E was towed in for service (month/year is fine)
3. Total time your Mach-E was in for repair. If you know general lead time for waiting on parts, that would be helpful to include
It appears that this update has been rolled back as of 09Jul-2022.
5. Anything else you feel may be relevant to add (e.g. second replacement, failure occurred after xx conditions, etc.)
NOTE: I will be adding mine to this thread once I get it back.EDIT: If your Mach-E was not towed, you are welcome to include it, provided that the diagnosis was a faulty HVBJB.
