Unless there is another problem glitching the performance limiter, the car having sensed the HVBJB as the problem should limit the car’s power to 60%. We can see this in the GT by the jail bars we see. If you have an OBD-2 reader, use it to pull your Diagnostic Test Codes (DTCs). That will tell you what the car is seeing as wrong. It may or may not be the HVBJB. If you do not have a reader to pull the DTCs with, ask someone on the FDRS thread to pull them for you. ??
Too lates Steve. Dropped her at the dealer this morning. They already called me back and said its the junction box/contactor again. Car should be ready tomorrow if the part comes early. Thursday at the latest.

Interestingly, when I opened my Ford Pass app, it showed the car being charged to 100% (I brought it in with around 84% SoC). Also, when I looked up the cars location, it loaded super fast. Could have been a result of last known location but might be all these app updates improved connecting with the car.

Two to three days on a SVS/HVBJB repair is a definite improvement. Last time my dealer did this (year or so ago) it took over a week.

Yeah, a few days is way better than the over a week it took me (plus the extra day the car just sat since the SA was ghosting my requests for status). Heck, mine was better than the poor people who had to wait over a month. Good to hear that dealers can turn them around in a more sane fashion. ??

Have you had to get the car towed each time this fails or are you still able to drive it to the dealer?
I've had mine replaced twice and both times have been able to drive normally to the dealer 50 miles away after the warning and each was done promptly.

It depends on the issue the car has seen with it. If it presents you with Service Vehicle Soon (SVS) then you can drive the car for a while. If you are presented with Stop Safely Now (SSN) you can only drive a short distance and the car may lose motive power. An SVS may turn into an SSN at any time. Most people have been under SVS for hundreds if not thousands of miles and never saw it progress to an SSN. My 2021 was under SVS and it switched to an SSN while I was waiting in line to check my car in at the dealership service department. That is a very rare case. ??

While many people can still drive, you won't be able to DC fast charge faster than 42 or so kW. We had this happen on day 2 of a trip, thousands of miles from home, with thousands of miles to go. Fast charging went from 30 to 90 minutes per stop, and added 14 hours to the trip. Ford's BEV group was unaware at the time of this change made to the code. Really pissed me off.

I had forgotten about the reduction in DC charging speed. Shows you that I don’t DCFC much. Thanks for the reminder. ??

For most it’s still drivable. I’m driving mine this way right now until my service appointment next week. When it happened the first time, they gave it back to me for two weeks until the part came in.

The code says which part needs to be replaced. Just order the damn thing and tell me to drop it off then. ?

I’d be pissed. When you dropped it off did they give you a timeframe or did they act like they don’t even know what’s causing it and need to investigate?
