100%. I just don't understand who badgers think they're fooling. If you'll fall for it you don't need to be fooled and if you're worth fooling that won't work.

Anything that changes appearance but not performance is purely decorative at best, and an attempt at deception at worst. M "sport" badges on non-M BMWs, I'm looking at you.
I always thought the M badge on non M BMW’s was especially funny. Like you said, if you know what an M BMW is you know it’s fake, if you don’t know what an M BMW is then you don’t know any better. ?

"They are now removing Tesla logos from their vehicles, replacing them with badging from other automakers, and even using projections on a Cybertruck in one case."
Well, if that doesn't force Mr. Musk to straighten up and fly right, I don't know what will!

For some reason the Mustang logo on the back just looked like it was wrong, so swapped that one to a FORD logo. I'm sure nobody but me has ever noticed.

Agree with you! Ponies and GT emblems are not my thing. In 2021, I replaced the rear GT emblem with a custom painted body colored Iconic Silver/Black Ford Oval.

Last year did the same on my 2024 but with Glacier Gray/Black emblems. On this one, I eliminated the front pony too.

Well crap, now I have to do the front as well. That looks sharp.
I am having another oval emblem made for the front but with the colors reversed. That way the emblem won't have as much contrast against the black grill and won't stand out as much as this one does now.

I have a fake badge on my MME, just because I thought it was funny, since mine is AWD with two electric motors. Twin Ion Engine ('TIE', as in TIE Fighter from the Star Wars universe)
