I am in the process of getting black PPF put on the rear of my MME GT PE Cyber Orange. Will post pictures when it is all done. In removing the GT Logo, I broke a piece out of the black trim. I am going to replace it with a factory replacement. However, when I was searching for who had the best on line price, I found that there is an after market GT logo that is lit up . Looks really cool. I know it is from the Mustang Coupe but it could be put on the MME. I am going to pass due to the cost but thought someone else that wants to add some customization would like this. Changed my mind and I am looking at it, it look even better when you see the video. The Mustang Coup emblem is 6.75" x 2" and the MME is 5 3/8" x 1 5/8". I am going to have to do a mock-up to see if this is not too big for the car. For the MME that do not have a lit front pony, the same company makes one for the Mustang Coup that could be used on MME.

Huh, different font from the one on the MME GT, but I don’t think many could tell the difference unless it was parked next to an unmodified GT. ??

Ok, I purchased the illuminated Mustang coupe GT badge for the rear of the car. I think it looks great. See picture below and attached pictures.

The installation was fairly simply but did take some modification on my part. The new badge attachment pins did not line up and had to be removed. They snapped off very easily with a pair of pliers. The existing GT pin holes also did not line up with the location of the power wire. I did not want to drill a hole in my brand new car, so I added another layer of 3M double sided tape to add thickness. This allowed me to make a channel in the existing and new tape for the wire to be routed to the existing pin hole in the car. In a sense I ran the wire on the backside of the badging. The badge only coverd one of the two existing badge pin holes, if I wanted it centered. If I put it offset, it covered both. I chose to center the badge. Since I put on the black paint protection film on the back, it covered the one hole not coverd by the new badge. Attached are the photos of the MME: with the original badge, without the badge, with the illuminated badge and with the illuminated badge with the brake light on. Let me know if you need any additional information or pictures.

I absolutely love the badge and how it lights up. It adds a little extra to the car and makes my MME unique.

I've been planning on using el wire around the GT emblem to light it up like the front but haven't gotten around to it. People without gts have successfully done their front badge with el wire and it looks great

Oh, cool that someone made a GT illuminated logo specifically for the MME. The one I put on my car was from the Mustang Coupe. If mine ever dies, I will look to purchase this.

OK. I hate you people.
The last thing I need is to buy more crap for my car... now I think I want this.

@EV_Vida please help me with some questions and pictures. I need a little info before I commit. It would help to have this stuff on your site too.

1. Can you provide a picture of what it looks like in the day?
- Is it on all the time or wired to the exterior lights?
- Manual On
- Auto On
- Brake On
- Backup On (requiring extra wire)

2. Does the red match the red in the tail/brake lights? Can you share day/night pictures of the entire rear of the car when on?

3. Does the white match the back-up light (both same white, not one white and one bluish or yellowish)

4. How thick is it?

5. Can you share the instruction manual so I know if this is a DIY or pro install?
