Good info….thanks!
I found the list! It's actually on the screen in the car when setting up the profiles, one of the info screens gives all the profile specific settings.

Yep! Under the profiles screen, my wife's shows a fob assigned to her, and mine has a fob and my PAAK assigned to it. I originally thought perhaps my assignments got "forgotten" by the car but nope they are still there.

It should be working! I can show my screen later when I get around to it as well.
Pulled up our profiles to show the settings that I believe to be correct, while the car's behavior isn't.

My wife as profile1 with one fob assigned; me as profile2 with one fob and one android phone as key assigned:

Switched to the wife's profile to show her phone is favorite (mine is currently connected though):

Switched back to my profile to show my phone as favorite:

Damn, not an easy one. Had another idea! Since you have a newer car like mine I am assuming we likely have the same pending updates. I am curious if the DSM Driver Front Module Update would help with the issue you are having. I would assume that module is tied to the profiles. My wife doesn't drive the car very often so I don't experience the problems you describe above.

It's a lot better than it used to be, I'll tell you that. On rare occasions will I get the guest profile (both with PaaK and fob).
Mine has actually gotten worse lately. It seems to partially apply profiles about every 5th time now. It was actually pretty great with my PaaK for many months now, this seems to be a very new issue since the latest updates.

Another Sacramento Owner. Congrats. I am a month in and experienced issues with the profile until someone pointed out under the profile menu you have to assign your phone to the profile. You'd think it is done as part of the PAAK setup but it did not. As soon as I did that mine functioned much better. My car is in the shop so I can't get a screen shot but go to Profile screen...
yes, our phones are associated with our profiles... still no dice. It worked for ~9 months very well. now it doesn't work at all. We push the seat button to select our profiles.

I think that the problem with the phones are that they are not tied to a profile. I believe that read in the manual or somewhere that the last phone connected would be tried first.

In the very latest SYNC software it allows for dual phones to be connected but it still has bugs also.

You can tie a PaaK to a profile but not the phone itself. That is what Ford needs to correct.

You can make a phone a "favorite" within a profile (like my photos above), but not tie it to the profile. My PAAK is tied to my profile though.

The whole "last profile connected" theory went out the window in my situation #2 as I described above. Again, my wife hadn't driven the car for a few days, I drove it 2 hours away, when I restarted to travel back home, it loaded her profile first even though her fob was 2hrs away, I was last driver, and I had my phone and fob on me. Crazy stuff!

An update would be great! So far I've had it 4 weeks and no OTA has come in yet even though I have it check nightly. We shall see!

Sadly I was told these updates are no OTA yet. I took mine into the dealership to have a few of the updates causing problems for me installed.....day two at the dealership and the car has not moved

I have experienced your number 2 often. Yesterday morning went to work, my wife's profile (even though I drove it last, and my phone was connected last). Left work and it was my profile. Went to pick up my son at school it was my wife's profile.

Now, what I did notice was when picking up my son. It was her seat and mirror settings as well as her profile photo. However, it was my driving profile (drive mode, one pedal, cruise and lane keep off).

As mentioned above with the software, I also have the DSM update and hope to update these soon (and hope the DSM update will fix this) with FDRS as soon as I get the plug.

Don't count on those updates being OTA anytime soon.

Is that Roseville? I'll give you a ride to there so you can take it to Folsom Lake. They've been good for service for me for past 15 years or so.

Yes, and for the record I disliked this dealership before I brought it here but I took it to the one in Woodland a block away from my office and they seemed confused by the electric car. Told me stories of having these cars for weeks trying to get them updated. So I decided to try the biggest dealership in the area, hoping they'd be able to plug it in, click next, next, next finish and I would be done. Sadly they suck.
I reached out to Todd another Sacramento owner and he also suggested Folsom but during my car buying process that dealership pissed me off. "Come on in and we can negotiate that $10K markup. The sales manager needs to see you are serious. I fell for it and went in. His offer after filling up all the stupid paperwork was $9850k." Never left a dealership so quickly before.

If this turns out to be a bust I may take you up on that offer. Thanks!

Keep us posted on how that goes. I may go that route but $50 for two days seems a bit steep. Seems like Ford should lower those prices and allow those comfortable with technology to do it ourselves.

You can tie a PaaK to a profile but not the phone itself. That is what Ford needs to correct.
ok, just so I don't miss this, the car shows a phone associated with my profile and a fob is also associated with my profile. Both the Fob, and the PAAK (phone) open and start the car. But they don't select my profile (seat, radio, etc.)

I think its set up ok, but when the PAAK opens the car, it leaves the profile in the last position it was in.

Did I misunderstand what you meant?
