Is anybody using this with a '21 Job2 GTPE?

I'd LOVE to get this!

Thanks
Bruce
I know there are a few GTPE users, and mine is a 2021. No reason it won’t work.

update software details for bluepilot.
Hey AJ,

The instructions say choose 22-23 F150 but I suppose there's a choice for 21-24 Mach-E?

Thanks

I just want to give a bit of a PSA. When i installed Openpilot it worked fine (no codes anything). However, my windshield heater for the regular LKAS camera stopped working and I had several ECU issues showing up in FDRS with it plugged in. The dealer actually replaced the IPMA and the cabling as a result (i don't know why there weren't any dash lights showing up). As soon as I plugged the comma back in there were issues again with codes being thrown in FDRS.

I actually took mine out and now have BC 1.4 which is similar to comma performance in my book. I do a lot of highway driving so most of my drives are on BC roads anyway.

AJ,

I saw your YouTube Video on making an extension for the F150. I'm a bit concerned about the long USB C cable run in the Mach-E. USB extensions have been a failure point for me in the past. I'd hate to have to pull the sill plates etc if the USB C cable goes on the fritz. I heard that the pins are finicky on the extension plugs. Would cutting extension wires into the Q4 be a good idea for the Mach-E? If so, would we need to add resistors?

Thanks

I definitely wouldn't extend the harness if you don't have to. The risk of that going south is far higher than the risk of a USB-C cable going bad. I linked the Ainope cables in the YouTube response, those have been very successful so far. I have them in mine. Comma also sells a 10ft cable you can buy straight from them.

Hey AJ,
It looks like the YouTube response got wiped somehow. I tried to view it on 2 different devices & it seems empty.

Thanks

Can anyone confirm that they successfully installed it in a 2023 Job 1 Mustang Mach-E?

I installed it last night and with the Q4 harness connected I am getting the following errors in the car:

Stop safely now
Pedestrian sounder fault service now
Blind spot system fault
Cross-traffic system fault
Service vehicle soon

I am trying to troubleshoot if it's the harness...which I think it is, but as the Mach E is not officially supported, the Comma support team won't send me a new harness for free. I need to (effectively) pay $9.99 for them to send me a replacement to try.

I would like to verify that someone got this working on a 2023 before I do that.
Got my 3X today & unfortunately I'm having the exact same problem. Did you get this resolved with a replacement harness?

Thanks

we have seen quite a few harness with bad crimps in the latest batch from Comma. Do you have a multimeter?

Sure do. Do we have a diagram of the pinouts?

Thanks
