That's how Farmer's is listing mine, as a truck. Didn't know I was getting a CyberTruck when I bought it. :p
I wouldn’t worry about what an insurance company calls the vehicle since they have the VIN which 100% identifies it as an EV SUV. Collision/comprehensive is usually based on cost, which is higher then an equivalent ICE vehicle.

Probably listed as a truck because it is classified as a truck. At least here in WI when I got my registration from the DMW it was shown as a truck.

im not sure how they do their classifications.
In WI how do they classify SUV’s? In CT trucks need to be registered as Combination which costs more then as
Passenger.

Look at your VIN. It lists Mach-E as a truck. I assume this reflects it is a CUV. Wikipedia has a good article on deciphering your VIN.

My insurance company wants over $400/year more for my GT-PE than for my Fusion Energi, same coverage. For double the deductible, it’s about $300/year more. ?‍♂

I have my 2018 Fusion Energi Titanium and the Mach-E Premium on my policy. Mach-E is 29% more, i.e. $414 more per year ($331 after dividend).

The Mach-E wasn't in their system, HQ had to price it. I expect when they better understand its features the cost should go down. I also live in the 2nd most expensive auto insurance state.

Hartford added our Mach-e as a Mach-e EV, no problem and the premium was $200 less a year than the Prius Prime it replaced.
