Nice. Really glad there isnt another pony. Was starting to become a stampede.

I wonder what the story is with the 4 pictograms?
To be fair, it's better this way. I shudder to think of you killing any ponies under the angry crush of your snow boots.

What happened to the Pony??
They seem to have changed vendors and designs since that first pony version.

I asked my dealer if he could add the interior protection package since it wasn’t there when I ordered and he didn’t want to touch my order at all since the process is so new. His view was “leave well enough alone and we’ll order it through parts.” I don’t care how it gets ordered as long as I get them. I like the Ford mats - they have a nice, high lip on them that holds all the crud you bring into the car.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I want the interior protection package, but I don't trust my dealer enough to add it to my order without risking hitting the wrong button and screwing something up. I'll just try to get it through parts later and hope there's not a shortage.

I'm curious what the cargo area mat is like.

My dealer managed to add the interior protection package with no incident.

Do we know that carpet floor mats come standard, and if this is ordered, those are replaced? Or is this truly in addition (ala dealer installed?)

We saw this earlier:

Now they've been seen for real:

What? That is only a couple of hours from here, I wonder if they are heading this way...

I'd rather it say MUSTANG than MACH-E. Ponies are great but I'd like to actually see the word Mustang somewhere.

Since we’re talking about it, what would be the reason NOT to get the interior protection package (really on the MME or any car)?

Do some people just prefer the way the car looks without it or prefer aftermarket vendors?

Exactly. Or they live in climates where they don't think it's needed.

I personally prefer the look of carpeted floor mats, but every car I've owned, my feet doing the happy dance between pedals eventually makes a deep wear mark where my heel rests and I don't like that. In the grand scheme of things, I could just replace the floormats, but I never get around to doing that and I end up hating the look of a worn out carpeted floormat. My current vehicle is the only one I actually sprang for ruggedized floor mats and they have held up incredibly well and still look fantastic, meanwhile preserving my carpet underneath. I don't think I'll ever NOT get an interior protection again (especially since this will be my first car over $60k)
