Is anyone excited about the Fisker Ocean?

Hi all,

I was excited about the Ocean. Made a reservation for my girlfriend, then converted it to a binding order to attempt to maintain EV tax credit. In the meantime, gf leased a CX-5 because she just needed a new car.

As time goes by, feeling less and less enthusiastic about the vehicle, likely going to walk away from the 250 deposit. Did anyone else reserve? Are you having second thoughts? I don’t think it’s as good looking as the Mach-E, and although the expected specs look good, it’s not enough to switch.

The car looks ok to me. But I wouldn't buy it for a different reason. I don't want to buy a car from a manufacturer that has low chances of survival. They may go out of business (and probably will), and you would have a problem servicing the car or selling it.

I have 2 reservations, but I'm afraid that I may pass on them if car loans continue to be so expensive .
I saw Ocean prototype in Monterey and honestly I was not so excited. I would like to see real specs.

Did you convert to binding? I honestly wish I hadn’t, because it was just throwing the money away. Wasteful on my part.

I converted to a Sport. We just want a spare car because around here it takes longer than usual to get a car service/repair. At $30k after rebates, it is similar price to a loaded Corolla.

If the Sport can charge at 250 kw, that will be great. My Select and future Premium would max out at 115 kw.
