Is there any way to improve 0-60 performance?

Install a new Holley Quadra jet carb, Edelbrock high-performance high-rise intake manifold, ¼ to full race cam, boar out the pistons, better Trany, and rear end?

Seriously, is there anything that can be done to a 2023 MME AWD Extended range? Past few runs using Car scanner showing ~5+ seconds for 0-60, on a flat surface in both unbridled and engaged. 10,000 miles and 99% HVB SOH
Anyone else showing similar numbers?

The Quadrajet is a Rochester carburetor (with the C#@vy version being produced under license by Edelbrock). 🤪🐩

Aside from purchasing a GT and/or refining launch technique about the only thing that can currently be done is to increase traction. Removing weight from the car will also have an effect on acceleration. There are currently no products that will increase power output. 🤔🐩

If you have the right kind of programming experience and aren’t worried about melting contactors and battery cells, you could probably hack into the system and remove the current limitations.

Or you could probably swap the front motor for a GTPE’s front motor (looks to be about $1500-$2500 on ebay). And you would still have to make some programming changes so the vehicle recognized the new motor.

It’s not that different from making major changes to the drivetrain of an old gasser like boring out the cylinders. Just have to have the specific skills, time, and willingness to make changes.

I'm an old goat and it's never been easier to go........ Well, Fast!

I would love to go back in time and cruise into my high school parking lot (early 70's) driving my F150 Powerboost or Mach-E.

Either would slaughter even the rich daddy muscle cars of that golden era. Just the tire technology on both vehicles would be unfair. 🤣
Not to mention the suspension and brakes.

True, But the fun of modifying and tweaking and add-ons was the fun part. You know getting all greasy.:crazy::crackup:

Charge up to 100% and warm up the battery. It’s slows down the lower the % and temperature is.

Car scanner isn’t going to be as accurate as like a Dragy or VBox. But 21-23 AWD Extended range is rated for 4.8s so right where it should be.

Otherwise there’s no way to make it faster other than trading up for a 24+ AWD Extended range (4.1s) or a GT.

Yes, it's called selling the car and getting a GT with the Performance package.

I have to ask, do you really need sub-5 second for your day to day usage? Or this just a "because I want to" kind of thing?

Better tires and weight savings. The easiest weight to lose is usually from the driver!

Smaller, stickier tires (not recommended for anything other than getting better 0-60). This would reach the HP peak sooner than the 30-40MPH it does stock. Battery warm, electronics cold, remove all excess weight.
