But they aren’t actually buttons. They look like the carp that was in much ‘14 FFE with MyFord Touch. I hated those touch controls. My brother’s ‘18 FFE has real buttons. 🤔🐩
Correct, they're haptic feedback "buttons"

I prefer the large screen. I’d prefer an air vent (unpowered) for mild days when I just want a bit of fresh air. I’m ok with haptic buttons but I do like rotary dials for temp/fan. Maybe a rotary dial on auto would allow for fine tuning on heat v. energy. Updates appear to have improved energy efficiency in general.

Physical and digital HVAC controls? Seems odd.
Lots of people seem to ask for this. I traded my 2022 F-150 Lightning for an ICE F-150 Tremor earlier this year (lack of chargers in my area) and, despite the smaller screen, I absolutely love having my HVAC controls back. It's so much easier to use.
