I believe you would have to 1) Have the hardware for BC, and 2) Have an active BlueCruise subscription. My 2021 GT-PE didn’t have the hardware, so this would do zero for it. ?‍?

I finally set the BC up in my 2021 MME and it said not available even though the update was complete.

As a follow on the the recent BC 1.3 Update my 2021 Job 1 received, I just got another update ECG-25.2.5.7.1 for Consistent Battery Performance. It installs a new Gateway Module to better manage the 12v battery drainage. Showing us true early adopters some love.

I also received both the BC 1.3 and Consistent Battery Performance updates this week for my 2021 Job 1 Mach-E Extended Range Premium. I really like the improvements between BC 1.0 and 1.3. The lane centering and lane change are excellent.

True to their word (this time). Finally, our early 21 job 1 just got BC 1.3, followed quickly by ECG-25.2.5.7.1 . I guess the spigot is back on again finally for job 1's because it's been almost a solid year since any updates!

Ditto. I have a 2021 Premium RWD. I got both updates about 5 days apart. Hasn’t had an update since June of ‘24 so it was nice to see two updates happen so quickly.

Mine cancels at the same spot on the 101 south every time, doesn’t matter the lane either. Never did this with 1.2 so I’m leaning towards a recent map update as the cause.
South bound 101 is mostly useless for HF (for me) now whereas 1.2 was solid as a rock.

The 101 is over 1000 miles long, but I drive on part of it very often. If you don't mind disclosing, where do you have this issue? I'd be interested in seeing if I have the same issue (if I am in the same area you drive).

It cancels (abruptly) about 100 feet before the Broadway overpass. Then goes hands on until the curve just past the 60 interchange where it decides to go HF for the curve then back to hands on at Southern, pretty much hands on (with a few blips of HF) from Southern to Warner. I get more HF if in the middle lanes and not the HOV. But previously I’ve logged 1000+ miles in the HOV on 1.2 without a blip unless the sun was blasting the front camera.

I’ve had my 2021 for about a month and haven’t activated BlueCruise yet. Next time I have a long trip I’ll activate it for a month to try it out. Should I still be getting the update even if it’s not currently active?

Thanks, but unfortunately, my normal route is north of that area. However, maybe someone else has some experience there for comparison.

Most of that urban area is still under some highway construction, isn't it? That may be why.

The thing is I have the experience over 1000 miles of it on that strip 15 miles each way. And the 'return' south bound is now shot for me, like it was with 1.0. If I dind't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all. (as I order a wheel because of my luck)

Yea I don’t have as much time on 101 as you do, but at least once a week I drive 60 west to 101 north and then 202 west to a site near the airport. I use BC on 60 but not 101… but I’m only on it for a couple miles.

Finally got BC 1.3 on my 2021 Mache. Thought this was never going to happen as i had received no OTA updates since oct 23! Going in a road trip this weekend so this came just in time!

Really loved the new version of Blue Cruise. It stayed connected most of the time. Lane change feature was also cool. I did notice that if i choose to override the speed (based on speed limit + tolerance) it kept resetting every time i passed a speed limit sign which was an annoyance.

I have the exact same status on my 2021 MME. Showed up on 3/17. I called the OTA team twice. First time was told everything looks OK but the download was just cancelled for some unknown reason. Called a few days later and was told it could be a modem problem, bring it to my dealer and tell them to open a TAC Ticket. Rep couldn't say whether Ford would cover the service or not. I doubt it's my modem, it connects fine to my WiFi, all remote functions work and streaming apps work.

I have not noticed any different behavior in my Bluecruise 1.0 functionality though.

I received the 1.3 update again today after being stuck on the “Not Completed” error for 2 weeks. This time it downloaded completely. I manually started the install and that also completed successfully in about an hour. When I went to test it out I am getting a “front camera fault” and have no Bluecruise or pre-collision functionality.

I had called Ford OTA & customer service multiple times about the “Not Completed” situation and was told I’d have to have the dealer install Bluecruise manually, for $180. That was wrong advice since it finally came OTA. Now they tell me I have to bring it to the dealer to fix the front camera fault, which I will have to pay for. After waiting nearly 2 years for BC 1.3 I’m at the end of my rope.
