Today, I noticed the left side speakers don't work.
I thought maybe I blew them out, but have never gone past 3/4 volume on the BO sound system.
At first, I thought it was just the front, but after fiddling with the surround, found it was all the left side.
HOWEVER! If I switch to the Guest profile they do work. WTF?
I have tried resetting the console multiple times and turning the car off/on again and it didn't fix it.
I have tried playing around with the balance/fade to no avail.
Again, the speakers do work, but not under my driver profile.
The only thing I can think of, is that I recently bought Airpods and maybe they upset something.
I guess I could just setup a new profile and hope that works.
This has happened before to a user under different circumstances, but was resolved with a restart:

Any insight?

If you are using CarPlay, this happens to me too. It's almost certainly a CarPlay issue for me, since I can get both speakers to work if I switch to another audio source within Carplay. I used to switch from my podcast app to Spotify and back, or vice versa. I recently realized that having a text message read out also fixes it, which is usallly faster since the original source restarts automatically after.

I've had that happen a few times. I just turn off the radio. When I turn it back on, everything is back to normal.

Changing the audio source from within Carplay and to regular radio didn't work.
Not sure what was meant by turning the radio off?
The audio worked on the left side for a phone call but didn't work for music afterward.

Anyway, I gave up and just made a new profile and deleted my old one since nothing was fixing the bug.

If you have Waze on your iPhone and using CarPlay, it’s an issue in all cars. Usually force closing Waze would fix it for me, but I finally gave up, deleted Waze and just use Apple Maps.

No idea what that app is, never used it.
Odd that a few people have encountered this same problem, but none of the solutions solved it.
I think the problem started when I got my Airpods. Maybe taking one out at a time glitched something?
Anyway, I solved it by making a new profile.

I just had an issue where only the center channel was working on audio, even if I change to FM radio as the input.
I let the car sit turned off for a bit, turned off the WiFi on my phone so that only phone as a key / Bluetooth would be working when starting the car, no wireless CarPlay kicking in and then turned on the FM radio and all speakers were working again, then I enabled my WiFi and CarPlay also worked fine… not sure if it will happen again but is was definitely strange.

Had this bug happen again. Fixed it by pulling out the airpods and having them connect/disconnect to my phone.

Ok I guess I’ll have to try that, my wife tried to use it after I told her how I got it working and it was back to jacked. Just took the car out for dinner and it was jacked for me as well, only coming out of the center speaker. I left them an audio feedback of the problem and how happy it makes me that at least I have a center speaker for audio, not sure if they were able to hear that or not, yeah not good. I have a service appointment scheduled with my dealership over it.
