Welp 3 weeks now with a missing front pony and not a peep from John on anything, Kickstarter or his YouTube channel. I'm not sure what to do. Was a huge fan and this has completely soured the entire experience
And when I said many months ago this is how it would go because John is ghosting everyone, and when he finally did respond on here again he said he took so long because he was basically scared to? I was told to cut him a break. Live and learn, I guess.

I'm all for taking chances on new tech and fully understand shit happens, happens everyday. Communication has got to be the minimum though. Frustrating as I really like the product, even as an early adopter without all the revisions it made me smile walking out to the car. Live and learn indeed unfortunately

Wanted to update everyone, John did end up reaching out to me and made it right and mailed me a new pony, was able to install it today and it looks great!

Don't want to speculate but this pony feels much more solid and doesn't have any creaking to it like my previous did where the black insert meets with the clear. It's also the 6k variant and looks much more refracted vs V1.

Here's hoping it lasts forever ha

The lack of response after the shipments were done, plus the handful of failures I see, make me glad I didn't buy. I thought he was going to go into production with colored LEDS, but it appears he lost interest. Too bad.

Interesting. I was thinking about going with the front and rear lighted ponies. The front pony is the only thing I wish I had against the GT.

Current target is $265. That is dependent on a number of factors, and if that number can be lower it will be. For now though, the main focus is the Kickstarter
You might be overly optimistic that enough interest exists. I might pay $26, but not $65 and definitely not $265. That is why companies conduct market studies. Just saying be cautious so that you don't end up with a garage full of hopefuls.

Hmm, the post you quoted was from January 2022. Something tells me they're way ahead of you. ?

If someone had a scanner (object scanner) there are 3D printing geniuses out there who could print up a Pony that could be lit from behind. I have the printers but not the skills (or scanner), unfortunately. I'll post something on some 3d printing forums to see if anyone is interested in printing one. Once the stl file is available anyone with a 3D printer could make one.

Not directly related, but you just reminded me - did anyone figure out how to print the Fractal Ponies Ford gave out in the initial press kits?

I saw a glass-ish looking (plastic? epoxy/resin? 3D printed?) pony in that exact shape. I had to Google "Ford fractal pony" to even know what you were talking about lol...

Could you tell me the name of your file? I couldn't identify which one it is.
Thanks
