Don't get me wrong, I adore my '21 Select AWD. It's been my faithful companion through two Yukon winters and even a couple of road trips.

But when I saw what the Canadian price cuts were going to be for the Mach-E, I quickly calculated that I could upgrade to a Premium Extended Range for roughly the same payment. Sure, it would reset the clock on my financing, but Ford was even offering the same promo rate I'd gotten for my original MME.

Long story short (yeah, I know... too late) I met a sales rep yesterday and... I'm getting a new Mach-E. Thanks, Ford!

Took delivery tonight and did a nice, long shakedown drive. Zero buyer’s remorse ?

Is the suspension SO different between the Select and the Premium? Because I’d swear it’s a considerably better ride, for one. And that range improvement guarantees I’ll be heading out of town more!

Probably just the new tires.
That does make a difference.

Enjoy the new ride!

I wouldn't expect lower-profile tires to provide a BETTER ride, though. The rear axle feels more compliant. Not a ton, but definitely less harsh.

A whole $12? Just kidding.

Buuuuut, the MSRP on a ER AWD is already 48,895, so not really off MSRP but the new MSRP.

On another thread people are claiming to see $8k below the new MSRP.

Seems too good to be true though.
