Mach Drop Build Updates

Any Mach drop orders have confirmed shipping info or estimated dates from dealers or otherwise?

Unless I missed some posts - Not yet. Most (may be some are earlier) Mach Drops are scheduled for build next week. So the shipping information will have to wait until build is complete. At this point I am not sure how many Mach Drop orders are going to miss their build dates. Based on what we have seen so far for orders in production/produced, there seems to be a week to ten days in delay in completing build.

That's weird mine has the blue sticker with the production date of 21 December.

We wont get into blue green sticker mystery but 12/21 is the date the car was released to plant for production plus add the delays due to holidays - build complete will be sometime next week. My sticker shows a 12/23 date - so in theory I could two days behind you in production. I am anticipating build complete date around Jan 10 at this time.

The tracker also switched to In Production on the 21st as well.

And email. Though, I expect to hear nothing from Ford till after it’s known on this forum. Sad. But hey, the cars are coming!

Press Ford for the VIn. If one has been assigned, they have it. They gave me mine. You just need to get someone who knows how to read the system. Dealer name address and dealer order number are all you need at Ford. just tell them your dealer hasn't returned your calls.

I've called three times now and each time I've been told they don't have it so guess I'm just getting unlucky. Today I even told the person I had seen online a bunch of other people get their VINs and she said thats not possible. Getting super frustrating here

I'd call the dealership GM.

I've left him voicemails once a week for the past month and nothing. Finally got him on the phone and he was pretty sure they didn't have VINs...

I'd switch dealers even if it meant waiting longer at this point. But, it is entirely possible that something isn't right with your order to begin with.

We cant expect Ford emails for Mach Drops - we have to rely on dealers - so most drop drop folks will be /should be contacting the dealers by end of this week for updates

At this point, I'd be paying the dealership a visit. There's no excuse for the lack of information. Phone calls are good, not as useless as an email, but nowhere near as persuasive as physically taking the time to walk in the showroom to get answers.

I'm going to keep looking at the tracker here on the forums for the build update. I'm also going to use the communication on my original Premium order as a guide seeing as it's got the same build date as my FE. I figure that should give me a pretty good idea when to expect delivery based on some of the posts about email messaging I've seen in other threads.

As much as I hate my dealer, would be kind of crazy to switch and potentially add in 2/3 months to my delivery time (and have no chance at a first edition). My order seems fine in that Ford can see it, and the dealer can see it. From what I can tell he just doesn't know how to get my stuff (or just doesn't care enough)

I would but getting to the dealer is a pain. I've been avoiding public transit (took it once to go to the Doctor) so to take the risk just to get some dates doesn't seem worth it. I figure once other people start to hear about shipping for their Mach Drop it might become more worth it

That makes sense. Just noticed you're in the city. Based on that logic, I anticipate the next 7-10 days will provide enough updates for you. Good luck!

Basically only one of us needs to post updates and we will all know. Seems like all the drops will pretty much go together now.

My dealer has been very good with email updates. I asked him last week to give me updates this week. I don't think he works on Mondays though, so I don't expect an email today from him. I got my last email from him on Saturday. I just wish we could see these secondary status updates some other way.
My VIN tracker just says " Your order is being manufactured at one of our factories. This can take a few days. "

Sounds like your dealer is pretty exceptional. That's awesome! Mine hasn't bothered to email me at all throughout. I check in every three or four weeks with my salesperson to get the latest info. It would be nice if it was automatic, but at this point, there's no longer any sense in even being concerned about it knowing I'm in the home stretch of the long wait.
