I called the dealer and they said mine has not shipped yet. It is still sitting in Mexico awaiting a train car.
The start and end dates form the range for ETA. Vehicle likely to be delivered between those dates. The VIN tracker shows the maximum date.
Wow - so your car is still sitting MX - Not doubting him but if the systems show a ship date , I wonder what he looking at to know that the car is physically at the plant. So the Ship date of 1/23 in the Ford tracker is not correct.
Yup you are right - the start date above for ETA is visible to the dealer. Especially for us MachDrops no easy way to see this other than at the dealer. Usually the range is a few days. My ETA is 3/3 so I am assuming the range will be something like 2/28 to 3/3 or 2/26 to 3/3.
My dealer said the ETA is 3/18-3/24. The sales guy ordered a FE too and said his is stil sitting there with mine in the next batch to be picked up.
Oh Ok. Its just nuts to think the cars is just sitting when others are picked up.
Yeah, this car has turned out to be a super weird journey. Car is still 34 days transit time, no ETA or anything, and status is still In Production. My Premium, with a build date 10 days later, now has an ETA and is awaiting shipping. Really glad I didn't cancel my premium cause I'm apparently going to get it before my FE despite it being built later...and not being firstYeah, I'm in a very weird state with my drop depending on tracker as well. PalsApp (which I don't check often) is still pending. Build day was 1/12 and has a transit date on the tracker then never changes. It's primary status is "In Production" but was "Awaiting Shipment" for a day or so before reverting back. The ford tracker says "In Production", "Shipped", and has no delivery date. It has also had that "Est. 34 days" since the day it first showed "Awaiting Shipment" and it has never updated
Overall just assuming my car is somewhere and will get here eventually.
Palsapp just updated today! It now shows “Muncie, KS” as the Destination and “Muncie Ramp” as Destination Name, with an unchanged status of “pending.” I’m curious what this exactly means and how long until it leaves for SoCal.
Its ready to be picked up (or picked up) to be delivered to Muncie Ramp. SO when the car is delivered to the Muncie Ramp you will see a delivery document in palsapp. I have seen about two days to deliver the car to Muncie - could be sooner. Dont know about loading to SoCal but looks like trains are leaving every day or other day - dont know their schedule and have not seen any. But would generally estimate about 2 weeks from today approx to reach dealer so you may get your vehicle right in the range of your ETA.
