Mach -e Charging issues

Hi im new to this so i need some help. I ran a 6/4 wire to 14-50 nema outlet but for some reason the car wont charge on a 240v. 120v is no problem. I have read that there is something different with wiring for the ford charger that has to do with the ground and neutral. Can someone explain how to connect the wiring inside my panel and if you have a picture of the wiring or diagram. Thankyou.

Improperly wired GFI or bad AFCI breaker in panel?

Is the 40 amp pigtail insterted into the charger **enough** it takes a bit of force to insert.

Floating Ground?

Check to ensure the charger is plugged in and connected properly. The pigtails for the mobile charger really need to snap in.

Next, check your connections:
Both hots on the breaker (Red + Black)
Neutral on the neutral bus (white)
Ground on the ground bus (green)

Double check the wiring at the panel and the 14-50 outlet. If everything is wired correctly, try another breaker (even if it means going to buy a new one for testing purposes). Breakers have been known to be faulty out of the box. Another user on the forum had this very issue.

Thank you is just strange how my cousin was able to charge his tesla with the ford charger and adapter when it was connected to 240. I soon i plugged in to the ford 3 blue lights would come on and then turn off. Is it true that these ford portable chargers are very sensitive if the wiring is not correct?
