I just exhausted the 250kwh complimentary EA. I also don't see the option to sign up for this BlueOval 25% off deal with $50 annual fee on the Connected Services page. The regular EA subscription is $4/mo = $48/year. It drops kwh from 43¢ to 31¢, a 28% discount. Seems like a better deal. Am I messing up the math? With the exception of plug and charge vs. NFC phone at EA charger, then plug in, I'm not seeing the advantage.
Also EA appears to be month-to-month, so you can turn in on when you are road-tripping, then turn it off when you're not. With the Ford option, it's only offered as a yearly fee I believe.

Is there a guide somewhere to make plug and charge work? EA works fine for me if I plug in and activate charger through Fordpass, but I can never get plug and charge to work.

Have used EA stations a few times over the last 6 months and Plug & Charge has worked perfectly. Slowly using my free Kwh from Ford. Will be traveling again this weekend and expect no issues.
