Mach e interference with solar panels

Your Enphase Envoy communicates to the cloud via wifi. But the microinverters actually report to the Envoy via signals embedded in the electrical circuit itself. Much like the old “Magic Jack“ that let people use their home electrical outlets as internet ports if they plugged the decoders in on different outlets. That’s why you have to have your envoy plugged in as close to the breaker box as possible. (At least this is how it was explained to me.)
If your EVSE is on the same circuit, or very close, I can see some interference during the charging process.

My system has 40 panels on Enphase M250 inverters connected to a standard old-school Envoy using power line ethernet, and an upgraded section of 20 panels on Enphase IQ7 microinverters reporting through an IQ Envoy using my home WIFI. No such problems.

That is the closest statement that seems applicable. My solar system communicates via WiFi.

Nothing to do with wifi, it’s a signal on the electrical wires from the panels.
maybe The fact that you have a ton of inverters makes your system more sensitive.
realistically it’s not a major issue. You’re solar estimates on the app will be off a bit but doesn’t sound like it’s affecting production at all.

I have Enphase IQ7 microinverters, and they are not reporting any interference when I am charging my Mach E.

I have 39 Enphase microinverters and don't have any issues. Most of them sit on top of the roof of the garage where the car is parked. The Mach-E is also next to the SolarEdge inverter which has a built in EV charger.

That is a lot of solar panels and inverters. I only have 14. The IQ7 and envoy use the wifi 2.5Ghz band to communicate with each other. Can you move your charger and the Mach-e to the 5 Ghz band? Is there anything else in your house you can move to the 5Ghz band. This could remove some of the congestion. Do you have an intelligent EVSE that also communicates over wifi, then try to move that to 5Ghz. I think your solar panel installer might be able to help too.

I have 45 panels with IQ7+s, and have never had an issue with charging interfering with the panels reporting. I don't always charge during the day but do often enough to be sure there isn't an issue with interference of mine.

Now I remember the envoy has to be on the same circuit as the solar panels. to communicate with the microinverters. The EVSE will be on its own circuit. A long shot might be to try and physically separate the solar panel breaker as far as possible from the EVSe breaker. The solar breaker is supposed to be at the farthest position from the main input. Putting the Evse breaker in the position closest to the main input on the other side of the panel may help reduce electromagnetic interference.
