Hi,
We set our car in a scheduled charge at 10 pm. We plugged in and We got an alert last night that it was scheduled to be fully charged by 3am. Checked this morning and didn’t charge at all . Checked the app bc and it still shows we were on the schedule to charge between 10pm and 8 am on weekdays and weekends.

I know there have multiple posts where others have had the issue where they change to charge when plugged in for a single instance and then try to flip back to a schedule and save the change but it doesn’t take.
Any thoughts would be appreciated ?

My car didn't charge per the schedule last night either. I've had this car for just over a year now and have experienced this a handful of times (4 or 5 times I think.....). I don't really know what triggers this failure, just a random thing I guess.

However, this particular time was unique in that my charge schedule flipped. It was SUPPOSED to charge between the hours of 11pm to 5 am. It actually didn't start charging until 5 am so when I woke up it was around 84% (I think I parked at 68% last night....)

Super weird.

This car keeps me on my toes for sure.

I had the same issue last night which is the first time it hasn't charged as scheduled. Showed a charger fault error for some reason. It did charge at work

So you were awake after 10PM, and it showed it was charging and estimated it was going to be fully charged by 3AM? If so, then it was charging some...

Then it stopped charging? And there's no message in FordPass as to why it stopped?

Has it been working every night except last night? Did you do what you said, i.e. switch to charge when plugged in once and then switch back and it didn't take?

Did you set the hours in the car, or in the app? If the app, try them in the car.

Same problem here. Mine did not charge last night. Checked the charge settings and nothing changed.

Talked to my brother....his car did the same thing last night. Didn't charge either. All settings appear correct.

Makes me made because in this cold weather mileage is already reduced. I need the overnight charge. Basic function of an electric car you would think.....charge when you are plugged in and I tell you to charge. I guess not.

Yeah.
I presume the charge schedule resides inside the car and should function with or without internet connectivity. If connected, then it should be able to resolve it's location and charge rules associated with that schedule. If connection is lost, then default to now @ 100%.

Seems simple to me. ??

I agree. I don't even use stupid FordPass app. I removed my MME from it, logged out of it and deleted it from my phone long ago. Most frustrating and worthless app I've ever tried to use. So I set my charging location and schedule in my car. I only have one charging location....home. Not difficult. But apparently it is.

Tomorrow is another day.
Kinda exciting and terrifying at the same time not knowing what we will find with our car each day.
Did it change or not? Is the cabin warm or ice cold? What chimes will we hear (or not hear).

At least the important stuff always works. :)
