Did anyone else notice the car Halle Berry was driving in the opening scene of the Super Bowl? It was a carbonized gray Mach-E that looks just like mine.

If yes, did you notice the Mustang logo was blurred? I didn’t but my wife did.

Update: added screenshots.

I caught it too and didn’t understand the blur but good to see the MME front and center.

Mark Levine stated it was because it was not an ad that Ford sponsored. So the logo was blurred. I guess they just happened to be using a Mach-E for some reason :)

Could they have gone with a GT and not worried about the blurring?
GT still has the GT emblem on the back and the light up pony on the front, no? Guessing they'd blur it too.

Noticed it right away. I tried not to geek out about it because my family is already annoyed with me pointing things like this out all the time.

Of the dozens of car ads during the game, was the Nissan the only one for an ICE vehicle?
There was also Polestar (which I read somewhere was judged to be the most "effective" Super Bowl ad) and the Kia EV6 with the Robo Dog.

Those are BEVs; the only internal combustion engine (ICE) car ads were for toyota and 97% of the Nissan ad.

What color is it? It’s tough to tell from these screen caps? Also, looks like it has body color wheel arches which were only available on FE and now only on GT, so either it’s an FE or Ford gave them a custom car?

I misread the post. I thought it was vice versa (since the Nissan was an EV).

Great. Keep hyping cars that no one can get. The Lightening is a joke in terms of people actually getting them in under 24 months even if you can put in an order. Ford failed on supply chain backup plans. How many people went to order MMEs and Lightenings after this commercial only to be told (fill in the horrible blank). These cars are like NFTs; I have a picture of one in an order confirmation email from Ford; maybe I can sell that to someone and give them my place inline

This wasn’t a commercial (which is why the logo is blurred), so no hype.

But you realize that you’re one a forum with tons of people that did order and get their cars, right?

I stand corrected on it was not a commercial however, I still see commercials for the MME and Lightening. I saw an MME commercial on a SuperBowl Youtube channel with Idris Elba... perhaps it did not air or it was from last year)? When people see commercials I would expect people to want to place an order after seeing those ads. I don't know if orders on MMEs are closed now. My car has a build date in April. With gas prices climbing I'm getting texts from family/friends asking me about the MME. I am telling them it's at least a 6-9 month wait if you can get an order in. It's been frustrating.
