It hurts your acceleration, but if you don’t need the range, getting the SR battery drops a decent amount of weight. Ditto with getting RWD instead of AWD. Makes your wallet heavier, though that is probably the good type of weight 
Part of my thought process at least when choosing which variant to order - I live in a hilly area with lots of twisting roads, figured I would make better use of the lower weight as opposed to faster acceleration. I ended up with an SR AWD Premium (didn’t want to give up too much acceleration).
