I'm just curious why these profile problems are seemingly non-deterministic. I have PaaK and a fob, as does my gf. The only time the car selects the wrong profile is when I get in with just PaaK after she had just driven (so the car was already in her profile). This doesn't happen all the time, and when it does happen, I suspect it's because PaaK didn't pick up my phone as being the driver. I've also had the guest profile bug maybe once.

I don't do anything special, and my phone is one of those that aren't even explicitly tuned for PaaK (as in, Ford doesn't have a bluetooth calibration profile for it).

Fobs are always 100% correct in selecting the correct profile for either one of us.

The issue with profiles is known and ongoing. I do not use PAAK and the car only has my profile. Still, 30% of the time, it will go to "guest" and there is nothing I can to to change it. So I have to disagree with kitye.

I'm not saying it's not happening to people; I'm wondering why it only happens to some people.
