What's up with Sam Pak receiving all these deliveries? (Ct1, Red FE, Blue Fe and this Premium) and no word from anyone else atleast on this forum
Huge volume dealer (good social media presence) in a market close to the border (close to first off the train/truck), is my guess for why we're hearing about them in particular.

I don't know if smaller dealers do Instagram, etc. I know I don't follow my dealer on there.

Perhaps one truck load. Tough finding truck drivers around the holidays.
I thought that but then these deliveries seem to be happening over several days unless Sam Pak is slowing rolling them out.

Bidirectional charging will only increase the advantages of BEVs for home energy backups. That's probably the first feature a new Mach-E would get me to trade mine for, assuming Ford will launch it in a few years and that our Mach-Es won't be able to be retrofitted.
Currently, I'm not terribly worried about bidirectional charging. Our PvE system has 3 inverters, 36 panels, and 2 16 kWh batteries. If we're careful, we could have several days of crummy charging without depleting the batteries. It's more of a get to the grocery stores (with generators) issue or to the hospital (for whatever reasons), but bidirectional charging would be awesome.

The longest outage around here in recent years was 2 weeks on the Hamakua Coast, the area we live in was down for less than 3 days is all. That was from a very strong tropical storm in 2014.

Jealous! And here I am in Austin, TX with a built car waiting until March 12th for delivery..
Got an update this morning. The official Ford Internal Tracking as well as Ford.com now say 2/23 to 3/1 is when I can expect delivery. So here's to hoping it can be pushed even more early!

I think the standard delivery windows are conservative. Being in Austin I would think it should be quicker delivery than 8 weeks. It will be interesting to see actual ship and delivery dates once they start coming in to have a better estimate.

Guess they didn't notice that the charger has faulted in the video - the blinking red LED on that Webasto TurboDX is a hardware fault indication on the charger end.
And we can clearly see that the car led aren't flashing or anything

I hope they are underpromising and overdelivering. I, too, think they are being super conservative just to ensure we don't get our hopes up in case something happens. Who knows

Carlos Slim is sometimes the world's richest man, and he got that way by creating an awesome internet and cell phone infrastructure in Mexico via Telcel and Telmex.

LOL, after numerous trips to Mexico, I have to agree.

I especially like the text I would get as soon as I crossed the border

Paraphrasing: "Welcome to Mexico! Your phone will work down here, but you will be Roaming. And it is going to cost you".

They love their cells as much as we do, and every hotel seemed to have excellent internet.

I'm good for 2020; bigger question is when the .9 rate fizzles out. Could be 1/4
Texas has a credit that is ending and the Mach E is on the list.

"Unless the application period is suspended by the TCEQ prior to the deadline, applications must be received and date-stamped at the front desk, Rm. 1301, 1st floor of Building F on the premises of the TCEQ by no later than 5:00 p.m., Central Time, January 7, 2021."

Well my wife and I just received a call from Sam Pack late yesterday that our long range rwd Premium in red/black is in at Sam Pack. The weather is terrible here and she wants to wait for it to clear...so no car until Friday or Saturday. Vin...06286. Very excited. Have solar panels on roof and have been driving a Chevy Bolt. It has been flawless. The solar and EV have proven their worth. Come on Mach E!
There is a $2500 Texas credit as well if you get it today and file paperwork sometime next week (please check the dates).

edit: someone else posted way more info. Go pickup your car and stop delaying. It will cost you $2500.

Emailed the dealer as clearly mine wasn't the "3rd in Texas" as they had originally stated. He mentioned something about the car not shipping due to a "border reason". That being said, apparently that blue FE is available as the owner backed out... Curious why... I'd have gone for it if the range was as high as the premium RWD ER.
