So being sold out, we should know how many of each model were produced.

Well at the rate the semiconductor shortage is gone, Ford could probably say this about all their inventory!

My 4/30 order is still waiting for Dealer to accept, hopefully I'm at least still in the "queue"
They just accepted the order and I got a PDF with the contract # and all that. So this is basically the big wait until I get a build date? Nothing really until then, and then shipping to dealer?

Are the April Mach-e numbers out yet?
Or is Ford also following in the footsteps of GM and stopping to disclose monthly sales numbers?

I was listening to the Ford earnings call when Jim Farley said that. I thought, that just means demand is outpacing supply right now.

I noticed last Tuesday when they updated the website that my order changed from a 2021 MachE Premium to just MachE Premium. I don’t know if this was a random change or a hint about it being a 2022. Ordered on 4/23, current status is “place order: in progress”. Does your order still state it’s a 2021 or did it update to just Mach E?

I can't recall if it ever said 2021, but it actually doesn't say 2021 anywhere --

For the most part, yes. The order status will get updated occasionally on the website, but not with a lot of detail and once it is produced the next update happens when it hits the dealership. You can ask them to give you shipping updates by VIN#, but they may or may not actually tell you where it is.

I am not suprised. All the vehicles that they have scheduled out from retail orders. While there are stock orders, they are being called for months before they arrive at the dealership. We managed to snag a mache stock order for my wife. Though my F-150 that was built on 3/19 is sitting in a lot with 1,000s of other trucks is waiting for modules and seats.

In my case, the Ford Order Tracking website shows 2021 model year, but the Reservation Tracking website does not show model year.

My order date was 1-18-21 and build date is 5-30-21.

What's the difference in the sites? I'm just going to ford.com, logging in then going to reservations and orders. Is there another site?

Ford already knows that. They've known reservation mix, order mix, and percentage of declined orders per trim line all along. Whether any of us will ever know is another matter.

As @timbop said, pretty much a waiting game now. You'll be able to get your VIN when the car is scheduled for production and you'll be able to pull up your window sticker when the order is sent to the factory. But not much other than that.

When is the order sent to the factory?
