Magic Dock in Arizona

Appears that Tesla's Magic Dock has arrived in Arizona.

Tesla's app (Charge Your Non-Tesla) is now showing a Magic Dock installation in Glendale AZ. 16 stalls - but no info as to how many have the Magic Dock adapter.

As I understand it, drivers need a Tesla account to charge their car. I guess - Tesla chargers don't have credit card readers.

I used it today to charge my Hummer. Terrible charge rate of 135kw, because of the 400V and 350A limits. FYI, there are no Magic docks in Quartzsite.

All 16 have the magic dock, and parking arrangement is good for CCS vehicles. This site is not along any highway.

I charged up at a Tesla station in Vicksburg, MS Friday night. All 16 “posts” as Tesla calls them were equipped with the adapter. The first 3 I tried would not release, but the fourth worked like a charm. The app was easy to set up and worked perfectly. And for icing on the cake, it delivered 140 KW start to finish. If it wasn’t for the for the issue with adapters it would have been a perfect charging experience.

You are mistaken. Tesla chargers never malfunction. I learned that here. Must be user error.
