Premium AWD ER, the GOM usually gets me around 260-265 at 90% charge. My miles/kWh shows 3.5 avg would would get me 308 miles range, its rated for 270. There is a video on youtube showing other EV rated on the same eu scale not meeting their rated mileage. The Mach E was the closest to its range.

The ER AWD is advertised with a range of 335 miles. Mine shows 278, at best. Speaking to the dealer and my Mach E Support Concierge, this is normal.

I paid for a FE with a 335 mile range. 278 is NOT 335.

Please comment IF you too are unhappy about the blatant misrepresentation. I've even asked to reject the car (awaiting a reply).

You don't have to complain directly, but I'd like to know if the range issue is causing anyone to feel a bit miffed.
I have an er awd and it's rated for 270 miles but I get closer to 300. Not sure where you're getting your numbers. Mileage aside, you may have made a bad decision if you expect perfection from a 1st model year car.

Here's the thing: You say you understand that the fault lies in the required testing procedure, but then you still seem imply Ford's corporate policy is to lie to you. It may seem like semantics but they are telling you the result of the WLTP test is 335 miles NOT that you will always be able to get 335 miles. If you drive the car at 35 mph on a flat course you will exceed 335 miles; drive it at 100mph and you will only get 200 miles.
I hear you. I think they are all lying, or at the least misrepresenting the facts. Neither me, nor millions of others, will know the difference till they realise that their shiny new.purchase was based on a misrepresentation.

I simply expected more from Ford. Someone should act responsibly. Maybe they, and others, could take thread and say what the reality is.

Over here, they are all claiming 335'ish ranges and yet, it appears in the US the same car can only do 270. That is a material difference and that is wrong.

Just calling them out.

No, in fact you weren't. Nowhere did anyone "PROMISE" 335 miles.
On the purchase page it says max range 335. It doesn't say that this is not actually achievable, in the real world.

On their ads they also use this figure and not the ral world figure, or the one used in the US.

It is therefore down to ad standards and testing standards difference and they can simply get away with a higher figure over here.

Love it. I get your logic, but surely you should get somewhere close to the target miles, after 2,000 miles and when you are trying to achieve anything close to the goal.

It seems that the EU measuring method is the issue, not my perception of what I should get. I'd be happier if I was getting over 300, for example.

As the dealers and Mach E Support both say noone is getting the target (almost hypothetical) mileage. If it were just me, then maybe I am wrong, but the US is being sold the car as a 270 mile range vehicle. We are being sold the same as a 335 mile car.
That is definitely a problem and many cars such as the tesla do not even get the 270 (EPA range) as they play with numbers to make them look better than they are. If you want over 300 miles you need to drive it like your grandma on flat roads with a tail wind when it is above room temperature. The ones that are posting those BS high GOM ranges are just throwing fuel on your fire unfortunately. Makes them feel good but pretty sad to post them for your thread. I am around 400 km or 250 miles which is exactly what the dyna test scores indicate. I never expected 270 but understand someone tells you the range is 335 miles that you may expect 335 miles. Unfortunate it does not work like that and they assume you sit in stop and go traffic and drive 20 mph in the city for some of that range.

I think with the charging infrastructure you may find that 250 miles highway or 2 hours of driving will be more than enough and the range is sufficient. We need a break once in a while to keep our roads safe. When it gets down to 0F and you are only able to charge to 80% it becomes dicey.

Just looked at the specs for Ford of Europe and it lists the AWD extended battery as " Mustang Mach‑E has a targeted pure-electric driving range of up to 600 km (more than 370 miles) according to the World Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP).1 In extended-range all-wheel drive configurations, Mustang Mach-E is targeting 337 PS (248 kW) and 565 Nm of torque.2 "
" 2Based on manufacturer calculation using computer engineering simulations. Your results may vary "

Looks to me like there is wording such as "targeting" and "Your results may vary"

These quotes taken from the Ford Europe Media page HERE

I don't use GOM. Pos.

I get that, but in UK it is sold as doing 335 miles. Not 270.
It is not sold "as doing 335" but actual wording is "Targeted" and the disclaimer is "your results may vary"

But we know that the WLTP ist still crap
A bit better than the old "New European Driving Cycle (NEDC)" but not as good as the US EPA test.
Since I'm US, and many here are, it sounds like most informed consumers in EU/UK should know this is a bad test.

Years ago we had a single mpg # and it was garbage and people knew it.

EPA test is a bad test?
I read the epa test should be more accurate as the WLTP test in europe.

I just rolled over 13000 on my FE. I have never reset the Trip2 because I like to know what lifetime average mileage is. My Trip2 shows 3.1 and if I do the simple math (3.1 x 88kWh) it comes out to 272.8. The range I expected from my FE was 270, so I have zero complains on range. What does the 13000 miles include? I live in a rural area so most of my travel is on roads between 45 and 60. It has been on 5 long distance road trips (ranging between 300 - 3200 miles). Since I reserved mine, I have never seen any range estimates at 335. I admit I didn't look through the entire thread but does the OP ever post the source of the "335" range for any MME?

If this is the source (https://www.thedrive.com/news/36261...mile-range-in-alleged-real-world-driving-test), " the test was ultimately performed by a Ford employee, and the specifics of it aren't exactly clear" hmmm

Forbes wrote this up (https://www.forbes.com/sites/alista...w-mustang-is-an-electric-suv/?sh=42fd23b9455a)

I have yet to see Ford post these numbers, please post the link where they do?

Thanks. Appreciate the response. For me, I wanted to be able to go to London and back for work. I expected to stop en-route, but would need to stop in both directions for at least 30 minutes each. Not the end of the world, ut not what I signed up for.
