Good morning everyone,

I realise that the rwd is the base model, but it doesn't come with a base price. I expected and should have researched before committing to one ,that some items that are included in much cheaper cars are missing.
Folding mirrors, for starters but also the non powered, manual tailgate that I have become used to.
I think the rear window could do with a longer wiper, a couple of inches at the top would help. The rear camera is useless unless very clean, it gets dirty very quickly, maby it's in the wrong position.
That said, if that's all I can find to complain about it must be a decent vehicle and it is. I am now firmly an EV driver and convinced that we made the right decision.

If more people had this kind of self awareness, we would hardly have a forum. Congrats on becoming an EV convert. Next time you’ll be a much better informed consumer.

You can put a longer wiper. Use the Trico 15-G. It will give you the few inches. See this thread for details: Rear wiper blade - longer replacement? The first couple pages try a different one, so keep reading. Last I read the 15-G was the one to get. I can confirm that it works well on my car and was a good improvement over the stock one.

As for the rear camera, I don't have too much issue and I drive on a lot of dirt roads that make it dusty. I have a habit of wiping my finger across the camera glass when I walk past the back of the car which does a pretty good job of cleaning the camera lens.

Non-powered tailgate. That sucks.

I replaced my wiper with this and it made a tremendous improvement. I do the same with the rear and front camera on mine. Wipe it daily. The rear window does seem to collect dirt

Especially the top 1/4 underneath the roof spoiler. Sweet Baby Jesus, it's like looking under the refrigerator compared to the rest of the kitchen.
I park in my garage and I think that's the new home for my garage dust!

Where are these cheaper vehicles that have auto folding mirrors? That's always been a premium option I thought.

Even my wifes Ford B-Max has it.. a car that costs a third of the Mach E.

I agree with all what the op says.
Folding mirrors I miss most. The Mach E is a wide car, here in Europe some streets are narrow.
On my CMax the mirrors were damaged 3 times whilst parked in the street where I lived previously.

Too low rear wiper I also noticed.
Guess it has to do with the Mustang design, set your seat low to hang back in the car and cruise around, and the view is ok.

I always like to set my seat high in a car.
Still have enough headroom on the highest the seat will go, but you notice the car isn't designed for that position.
Rear view mirror doesn't rotate up high enough to get a straight view back (and then you view onto the dirty part of the back window). Even with the steering wheel in the highest position it'll block the top of the screen so you can't see what speed cruise control is set (or if it's green or grey).
And I'm average height, not real tall.. I wonder how the taller Dutch men feel about the positions ?

Ah interesting, maybe it's more of a European thing.
