Nope top part hits the short neck and snugs a fit. Just the wire keeps moving causing it to slip off
The top narrow part that goes around a cord is supposed to be on the bottom as it provides actual support for the unit. Seriously, try turning the bracket around...

Here’s some photos of how the support bracket is supposed to be attached. Note the thicker cable that goes to the car fitting into small single narrow piece at the bottom of the EVSE. Also note the imprinting on the back of the bracket matches the orientation of the printing on the EVSE, with the pigtail at the top. And the two small indentations that the wider set brackets settle into on the top of the EVSE.

Mounted the bracket on wall but the mobile charger just comes right off when I pull the wire to the car

Currently being held up by my pressure washer to relive downward tension

Not much wiggle room due to the metal conduit in the way

I don’t have any tools to bend the conduit
Any ideas on what I can do to get this to work?

the 'holder' is upside down.... try repositioning it with just a little 'S' in the cord to the outlet.

I keep thinking about this problem…..
I love a little challenge like this.
The Velcro straps are still a good idea. They take stress off of the mount clips.
Where I live, it gets hot, well, most of the year…. And that heat can make plastic mounts, etc. brittle over time. The straps would help that.

I agree with the other poster. The Ford charger is not designed as a daily use charger. A more permanent EVSE is better. Emporia, Juicebox, Autel (I have this one) seem to be having sales.

That said, they are a $400+ investment.

If I were planning to use a charger like the Ford charger, I might also consider using cable clips to secure the cable that goes to the car against the wall. This would also take stress off of the wall mount. I’d probably use two that fit snugly around the cable. Maybe .5” or 1.”? And if you’re mounting on drywall, I’d use toggle bolts to secure the clips.
