  • 5 second power limit will be "significantly expanded" [from other videos]
I wonder how many seconds more? What other videos?

This it's so bad at so many levels it's all marketing there's no way the frame on these cars could withstand to rally racing. Doesn't matter how fast is 0 to 60 we all fell for that one. It's fine that they want to do this but until they figure out how to reduce the battery size by at least 50% the weight in the bottom on center mass of the car will make it impossible to be off roadworthy this includes trucks I don't know what the hell they're thinking they can barely sell the Mach e now they have on th people are finding out there limitations.

The vibe between these two people is pretty weird. What an awkward interview.
Most of Sandy’s interviews are pretty awkward. I find them painful to listen to.

They're selling them just fine: https://electrek.co/2023/09/05/ford-mustang-mach-e-becomes-2nd-best-selling-ev-suv-august/

Also, I'm pretty interested in the suspension setup on this thing. With the right suspension, I do think it possible to have fun with it off-road. You're not going to be rock-crawling or buildering this thing, sure, but a fun dirt track would be doable.

I don't think they intend it to be a competitive rally vehicle. They COULD build a variant for that though, and just cut the battery size by about 2/3s and the old chemistry. Don't need to go 250 miles in a rally race.
