Haven't been pulled over yet, but I fear its going to happen sooner or later...? Way to often I think I'm cruising along at a reasonable speed and glace down to see I'm doing over 70 in a 45...Hopefully I can get out of a few tickets by showing them around the car. ?
Right?!? I've gotten one ticket in 22 years, so it's not like I'm constantly pushing it. It's just that it's not even close with the Mach E. When I get pulled over, it's going to be for going 30 over and I'm not proud of that.

I agree, and maybe I'll have to use. Right now, I'm just having too much fun. My kids absolutely love pushing the buttons to open the doors and always ask me to "blast off" from stop lights. At this point, I'm banking on one ticket as a sunk cost for the summer.

Totally agree. The mach e just blasts off when green light comes on. This thing is a police ticket dream

Not sure it will get you out of a ticket to show your $55K+ spiffy car to a cop who might not be able to afford one because we don't pay cops enough for the work they do. Or, maybe it will....

Anybody else feel like their speedometer isn't working properly? I'm barely accelerating and I'm already at 45 mph in a 30. It's really frustrating to have to slow down to this speed when it's clear my speedometer is the problem (plenty of sarcasm here). But for real, what's the over under on annual speeding tickets in this thing? Anybody already get pulled over?
The acceleration is quite good and the car be somquite you sometimes might not feel it. Why don't you comepare it with the speed shown on google maps or waze? That will give u an idea.

If you think they are underpaid, start tipping ?
I used to have a neighbor that was a cop in our large suburban town. He definitely wasn't underpaid; most of his job involved generating revenue for the township at the local speedtrap.

Twice now along a nice stretch of road on a two lane highway, the car in front of me has been doing 45 mph in a 55 mph. Both times I have had to wait for the dotted line to appear to pass. Today when it happened, I'm pretty sure I hit 80 mph as I was going by them.

It's just too easy.

With my luck the cop will hand me a ticket with a note in the comments:

Maybe your speedometer is in kilometers per hour, and your mind is in miles per hour.
