I added an additional wireless charging option to my 2025 MME.

The storage compartment in the center console has 2 USB-C ports and wires can be run through a hidden channel.

I bought a wireless pad on Amazon and trimmed the rubber part off the top, and stuck it in the useless slot in the console that looks suspiciously like a wireless charging slot.

The photos probably do a better job than me description.

Anyway it was an inexpensive solution that doesn't leave exposed wires and hasn't overheated my phone once. It's also impossible for the phone to slide and it's easily accessible.

The top of the charger isn't as smooth as I would have liked but that's my own pack of skill.

Well done Adam. For those with '25 models and newer that is a good option.

My additional charging station was under the console armrest. I did this back in 2021 on my first Mach-E ('21 Premium). On my second Mach-E ('21 GTPE) I installed the TWRAPS dual wireless charger which worked REALLY well. With my current '24 Mach-E (GTP) the TWRAPS does not fit my Chinese console so went back to the additional charger station under the armrest.

Here is the charging pad I used. In hindsight, I would not have bought one with the raised charging pad since I cut the top off anyway. This one holds the phone nice and snug, but a slimmer profile might make it just a bit easier to slide the phone in and out. It is important that the cord come out the bottom rather than the side.

Really nice!
My only complaint is that the Mach-E doesn't have any power delivery ports (USB-PD), I'd rather have that than an AC outlet...

Now that I've managed to go Magsafe on my S24+, I'll probably go to the TWraps, just trying to figure why Google Shopping says TWraps.com has 17% off, but the TWraps site doesn't have it...

Here's some great info about port capacity. Seems MME are capable of respectable output.
