I use the Ford nav, exclusively.
+1. I tried Apple and Waze and found the Carplay integration spotty, while the on-board is seamless. When the Ford Nav can't find a location, grabbing the phone for the final few miles is simple when required.

Apple maps.

I live in a warm part of the US and plan my DCFC around meals or shopping needed for the trip. The minutes that might be saved from pre conditioning would be wasted.

If I take a cold weather trip I will consider using Ford.

Apple Maps every time for me, I’m afraid.

Never got on with any car maker’s mapping & sat nav, only my personal experience but I find them clunky, not very intuitive and the entire iPhone & CarPlay package helps me manage my days out incredibly well.

Im not entirely an Apple sucker; I use Windows OS on PC (though in a partition I programmed to work on top of range iMac for quality & reliability of hardware) for business as I find the business world in which I’m engaged is still mainly on Windows systems and programs and I always struggled doing anything meaningful and efficiently on anything running on Android.

It might be me, my [lack of] patience and as an old fart so meaning old dogs & newer tricks is a struggle to me ??ā€ā™‚ may mean I’m missing out?

Also got £7,500 of absolutely top of range of car diagnostic computer running on Android and absolutely hate that OS, like a man with no arms using it?

Same here.

Love Ford Nav when I start up and immediately get the traffic colors.

Helps me plan my route everyday in urban LA.

I can't stand the usability of Ford Maps. I'm a recent convert to Apple Maps from Google Maps following its recent upgrades and EV integrations.

If I need to stop at a DCFC I'd switch to Ford Maps 30 minutes out for the preconditioning.

Ford maps almost exclusively. The next turn info is always showing on the ipc if you’re within 10 miles of it, it’s a bit more customizable and there’s no issue if I also have Waze up for speed trap info (not navigating). Plus on the rare occasion I have turn by turn voice up, the Ford map does an almost good job of pronouncing Hawaiian names. Apple? Bad. Waze? Atrocious. Google Maps? What’s that? ;)

Just wondering what most Mache owners use for navigation. I find myself flipping between the Ford and Apple during a long trip. I don’t like the Ford navigation because it seems delayed, not giving me enough warning on a turn or exit. Apple is better but of course the battery level is off after a charge, doesnā€˜t seem to know that the car is charged. Thoughts?
Google maps.

I use Apple map since I can easily select a contact’s address or a saved location.
If I’m searching for a place before I get in the car, the place is ready to press go.

I'm using the Ford navigation system for the moment. When my 3 complimentary years are up and they try to sell me a subscription, there will need to be some significant improvements in responsiveness and the price had better be less than the pricing on the maps they keep trying to sell me annually for my old Fusion Energi. I won't pay that for something I'm going to use about 4 hours per year. ?ā€ā™‚?

Hands down google maps. I love the AndroidAuto UI and how google maps works within it. I can't stand most automakers antiquated UIs and work flows. I only switch to the Ford app when I am routing to the charger I have selected.

I stay in Carplay while driving and use Apple Maps. It's by far the best looking map IMHO, it integrates with the cluster and its ETA is spooky accurate. It's been rock solid for me. Previously I used Waze for the speed traps, but the app has been stuck in the past and it's just painful to use IMHO.

Ford maps have gotten me lost a few times - but truthfully so has Waze and Apple Maps, so I do find myself having to use multiple in rare instances.

That said, Apple or Waze are preferred because I can use the combo screen in CarPlay to fast-forward in Spotify or Overcast and keep the map up :)

If I had to pay $ for Ford maps, I’m not sure I would be able to justify the cost.

I use Apple only and often. Apple continues to get better with red light camera, accident warning.
I only use the Mach e locally. I have a 23 Maverick for trips.
