Today while cruising along in HOV lane 75 MPH MME started wandering across lanes (I guess this is why they want your eyes on the road). I steered it back and all was ok thereafter. This afternoon on same trip back no hands free was available on the same freeway but a look at the nav screen showed I was about 2 miles from my actual location on a local street heading in a different direction.

Anybody have issues like that?

Reboot sync and or restart car. Permanent fix is still coming
Mine had this bug, too. What was odd is sync reboot did NOT work and I didn't want to pull over and had a long drive ahead. What oddly worked is opening FordPass, swiping down to refresh, then going to map and clicking the button on the bottom right to go to my location. For some reason, that then had my car's location instantly jump on the nav screen in my car to the right location. So weird.

using Blue Cruise today for the first time since I upgraded to Apple IOS 16. Car meandered within the lame quite a bit at the beginning and then got better. Also the arrow showed my car going sideways in Apple car play Nav . That straightened out to point in the direction of the car after I restarted the car.

This has happened to me a couple times. Pretty funny when it did. Even though I was driving 75+ on the highway, my navigation system had me wandering through neighborhoods with 25 mph roads. Every time I hit one of those roads, my adaptive cruise would start slowing down to 6 miles over 25 mph. So I turned that feature off in a hurry.

Losing the GPS, which is common issue, will cause BC to turn off, but it will not cause wander in the lanes. The system uses cameras to track in the lanes.

You can find the GPS satellite status in the nav setting menu, but only when stopped. Each time I have seen this it has no signals at all. For me a sync reboot has always fixed it.

when GPS signals are lost, the nav starts dead reckoning based on accelerometers.

Hi there, Joe. This navigation concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Mach-E. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.
