I don’t have access to my car - I’m on vacation. I’m pretty sure I don’t have the second version of sync @generaltso posted tho.
It didn't exist until late yesterday.

Maybe I'll find out this week. I brought Blucifer in last Tuesday for 21G01 and 6 months of updates, dealer said there was another TSB (didn't tell me what it was). 3 days later and they had to order replacement modules - BCM and one other. So now I wait some more.

These are the re-release of the updates for BC. I don't think there is anything changed user facing.

Hopefully it will help with the issues of BC not activating after all the updates.

These will show up for everyone that has already gone through the updates even if BC activated. And hopefully cars that haven't updated yet will get it activated on the first try.
Do we have any idea of the percentage of BC Updates that did not activate? I am in that boat. I have a ticket out with Ford. Just curious if we're talking about hundreds or thousands of cars?

I don't think we do, and we can't really go by the people on this forum. It will generally only be the people having the problem that are posting about the issue. There is a poll somewhere on here regarding the current status of OTA updates...

It seems to be a pretty big set of cars that went the dealer route didn't activate. There's a lot of people on Facebook posting they didn't get it activated also.

If anyone is trying to do this today, there is an issue with FDRS:

May 2 2022 FDRS Vehicle Identification Errors- Sync Gen 4 Vehicles

FDRS users may experience difficulties when executing the Vehicle ID process on vehicles equipped with SYNC4 at this time. The FDRS team is working to resolve this issue. Monitor PTS for updates.

I saw the latest updates on Saturday (Apr. 30), but held off because there was a note saying there was going to be FDRS maintenance on Sat. It looked like the SW Update page was still working normally, but I didn't want to chance things going down in the middle of a session. I guess I'll wait a while more now.

My BC seems to be working better now, no idea why. I did a complete cold boot and/or it could be APIM self calibrating? Out on the thruway Sunday, when the large steering wheel cruise button was pressed, MME asked for an "OK" button press, then almost every time BC came on nearly instantly. I know we are supposed to be paying close attention, but I sure would like to see a more predominant and/or, louder indication when BC goes off by itself. A couple of times, it went off completely (not just downgrading to the hands on blue bubble), and there was a short moment before I realized that no one was steering!

I'm not sure we all have exactly the same symptoms or root cause. BC shows available in my car, it just doesn't ever say hands free on a BC mapped road. Nor does it show as active in connected services. This could be different than what you mean.

I suspect that not more than a few hundred people nationwide have taken cars in for 21G01... or gone the FDRS DIY route, unless they are on a forum, they wouldn't know 21G01 existed. I hope that changes soon.

So FDRS is loading car profiles again, but the new updates seem to be gone from the cars I've looked up. Looks like another bad day at Ford.

I am unable to use Blue Cruise. When I hit the CC and Lane Keep, a box pops up and say "Blue Cruise Not Available". It is not listed under my Connected Services. Is this what your experiencing?

My experience is different.

When I hit CC a box pops up that says BC is available... I hit "OK"... It will hold speed and lane keep, but the "keep hands on wheel" icon remains on the screen forever. (yes I-5 is BC mapped) it is soooo close.

The 4 new updates that came up over the weekend will be loaded Tuesday morning. I have some optimism that it will work. I'll post the results.

As of right now those new updates have disappeared from FDRS. Not sure if they discovered an issue and pulled them, or if it has to do with the FDRS outage from earlier.
