New OTA 21B36

Not to be rude, but a search for 21B36 would have probably been the better option before posting.

I've got a Job 1 2021 and the dealer applied the TSB on July 6, 2021. I too got the OTA update this week, so it's not a dumb question. Obviously, some folks who already got the TSB compliance at a dealership are getting an OTA update in June of 2023. I think it is a fair question to ask. Mine was done almost two years ago, so is either a further tweak of the 2021 TSB or Ford lost track of which cars had already been updated.

That's not my point. It's been discussed on the forum many times in the last week. When we have something with a specific number it's super easy to search the forum for it. Searching the forum for "battery" is quite pointless, but searching for 21B36 will only yield informative posts.

If she would have searched for it she would have answered her own question without having to create a post. I specifically said "not to be rude", because some people don't use the search function or know it's available.

Yep - also yesterday on my late '22. A bit weird because normally I'm a few weeks behind what I see happening on the forum.

I received it yesterday too. Was not expecting it since my ford power ups are all up to date. (After 2 years if waiting for updates, I got about 10 updates in a 3-month span)

Yes, my 22' GT was updated with it today. I don't use PAAK as it breaks CarPlay. I wonder if this will fix it.

You are fine. Some people need to lighten up. I came here to search exactly for this info as it came out some quite ago and wondering why it applied to my mid-year 22 GT.

Before this update I charged to 90% and I have 2021 Job 1 and the ext battery it showed 290 miles in the GOM. After this update I charged to 90% the next day and showed 210 miles in the GOM. Neither one is correct I am sure it will fix itself overtime but I found that odd. I usually land around 250 miles at 90%

Yes, mine updated automatically last night (I got the notification on the FP app this morning). Funny thing is the car is already at dealer waiting on the next HVBJB to come in so it updated on their lot overnight.

Common forum etiquette is to search before posting. I had no I'll intent in my comment. The "but" was explaining the correct action, not intended on being rude. That statement can be used in condescending ways, but isn't exclusively, and you're just making assumptions.

Having multiple forum posts on the same topic makes finding information for others more difficult, which is the exact reason forum moderators will merge topics.

I did last week and now Apple CarPlay makes no tone as you toggle through music, phone or nav. Everything else on the screen, registers a touch, with a tone. ?‍
