New software update (via dealer)

Has anyone seen this?


I'm waiting for the update but so far, I'm not seeing it.

Features I'm interested:
1. Apple CarPlay driving directions displays on the driver's screen
2. More miles (241 on a standard range battery!)
3. Frunk button!

Keep in mind this was a dealer installed update.

Hopefully they'll start the OTA update of Sync soon.

I don't think #2 (more range) is a product of the updates. Just normal GOM behavior.

Even if it was, it wouldn't be part of a Sync update. But would be in a module OTA.

I don't mind little whimsical touches on an update, but hopefully they're not in lieu of taking care of some of the "smaller" annoyances like non-sticking settings and improvements in wireless Android Auto.

Not to be cranky, but she does zero research on anything.

1. That's great that carplay has it now, but android always had it
2. The estimated range has and continues to be a SWAG (silly wild-ass guess) most of the time so is meaningless
3. OK, so she's 1 for 3

Driving directions in the driver display also works with Android Auto. ;-)

Seriously dude she's putting out misinformation - and previously FUD with her previous video about how "Ford refuses to fix her car".

So, yeah if you want to suck down misinformation and not know what is really going on then be my guest. Since you've only been here a day you aren't aware of the trove of information here, including threads like this one about how inaccurate the guess-o-meter is.
