Same. My last Power-Up was 3.5.2. It works fine, and I may never accept another update.

Which version did you stop at?
Powerup 3.5.2
Fordpass 4.26.0

What Rick and I said.

This video is a little overwhelming because it's packed full of info, but it will give you an idea of other things you can do with Securicode. It doesn't mention the frunk or trunk but now that you know how to open the frunk I think you can figure out the trunk through experimentation or research. :)

Thanks to the guys on this forum. I saw the 7/8 but missed the enter door code part first! Wish I could use my fob to open the frunk- this code stuff is nice to know but typing in a long code with hands full of packages defeats the purpose of easy access. IMHO.

Yeah I agree. I think of it more like a party trick at this point. I have a 2021 Job 1 so I don't have frunk access from the touchscreen or FordPass yet, but those are also access options on later vehicles.

I felt the acceleration loss too.
I measured it with a acceleration timer on my phone and it was 3.9xx
I says it’s still quick.

Hi there. The references to opening the frunk using the door code is news to me - so much to learn about my first EV! Can you explain in more detail - how do you open the frunk using the door code! Thanks!

I don't like bad updates either, and I'm all for a rant when it's due. However, it's unfair to compare software of today to that 40 years ago. The amount of software that could run on an 8bit CPU before is dwarfed by what can run on the chips in the MME today.

The old waterfall development methodology has it's places, but I don't think isn't suited to the giant software systems of today. If you had to spec out every feature ahead of time, code it all and test it, it would take years between releases. The agile system used today can have side effects like buggy rollouts that take multiple updates to fix.

As time moves on, hopefully the software development teams at Ford will get better at bug testing and the quality will improve.
Do you think that way when flying? Want to be a beta tester on a commercial flight?

As stated in post #2, enter your code, then push 7/8.
I have use 7 as the last number in my unlock code for over a year and I've never had open anything other than the door.

I'm not sure what we're intended to do with that info? You've got good dexterity and don't make mistakes, or you don't use the door code much. Either way, congratulations.

Last digit is not 7/8. Must be the water...

FYI, If you hit the 3 after your code, it unlocks all doors, at least it does on my 2009 Adrenalin and did on my 2001 Sport trac as well. Door keypad is was the best feature until this car. You cannot lock it with the car "on". Before, I could get out with the engine running, AC on, and press 5/6 &7/8 at the same time and it would lock. Not this car. Nope.

I don't even use the frunk. Hey Ford, put more batteries in the frunk.

As for the speed, Something's different...
