No Audio Volume?

For the last two days I have no audio volume. No android auto volume, no radio volume... When I turn the volume either by knob or on steering wheel nothing happens - the volume level doesn't appear on the screen. I have asked Ford for help, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

In the meantime I am left with only my thoughts as I'm cruising around town. ?

Just curious, is the power button on the screen on? This happened to me one time and the power button in the middle of the volume dial was off. Pressed it and boom!

What's your build date? There was a DSP update a while back that fixed this issue. In the meantime, try disconnecting the negative terminal of the 12V battery to reset the system.

This could definitely be the issue then if you haven't gotten any DSP updates.

I’ve had this happen once. I fixed it by unseating the fuse box. It’s a workaround for the 12v battery cable reset.

Was a quick fix today. They used SSM 50739. Had to go to a different dealership - didn't end up waiting until 1/31 at my dealership ?.

[The same thing happened to me last week. I drove the car about 20 miles to an appointment and had no volume control for the radio or hands free calling. 3 hours later, when the appointment ended, and I preceded to drive home, everything worked great. So I guess maybe the audio control system rebooted, not sure.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
