Is it acceptable to plug into an extension cord?The charger that is plugged into the wall outlet has three lights on it. Red, blue, amber. You want it to be blue before plugging in the vehicle. Unplug the car. Check the light. If it's not blue then unplug from wall outlet, then repeat the connector between the charger and wall until it is all the way in. Push hard. Then plug into wall and recheck for blue light.

The connector everyone is referring to is the one one the Ford box. It goes from the 110 outlet to the box.
