Has anyone with the MME RWD taken the car off tarmac? I tried parking on a flat, but damp, grassy area next to a tarmacked road a few days. Several other cars were parked there. But when I tried to drive it off, it was both annoying and embarrassing. The car was sliding everywhere and wouldn't get a grip. The thin tyres probably don't help, but are EV RWDs in general poor off-tarmac? Any experiences - good or bad with the MME? Or, any tips?

The Michelin Primacy is bad enough on wet pavement. I would expect near uselessness on wet grass whether rwd or awd.

In the UK the RWD XR is fitted with Continental Premium Contact 6 225s. But I guess they're no better than the Michelins.

I wondered if the tires were the same as I posted that. ?

To me there's no surprise here. Rear wheel drive vehicles aren't great on wet grass. Now you make it a heavy RWD vehicle on wet grass.

Yep, and those are the $250 Summer Tire option in the U.S. We had them on our 4X before upgrading wheels/tires. They are NOT designed for any off road excursion, especially a wet one. Far worse than the OEM Michelins in that regard. But, they were miles better in steering feel and lateral grip than what I experienced on an extended overnight test drive of an FE with the Michelins a few months prior to ours arriving.

And if it is a Summer only tire and the temp is below 45F, the traction will be even worse. Summer tires are not designed to be run in temps below 45F.
