My first 15 months in the Phoenix area I averaged MME sightings about one per month (with a wave). However, in the last several weeks I have been sighting about 3 MMEs a day and this past weekend I parked next to a white MME. The owner was walking from the ATM when he noticed me (actually it was my MME) as I was walking to the ATM. I never got to the ATM because we could not resist a conversational exchange. He had just arrived back to Phoenix from Chicago, hmmm, a little bit better than a hand wave.

Yah WTF people? C'mon lighten up and have some fun. I love EV hunting when I'm out driving. It's like all the ICE cars are bland and gray now and other EVs are the only cars in color.

Charged at EA in Novi, MI today and a RR and SW were charging when I pulled in. When the SW left an ID.4 pulled in.

When I’m at EA charging I usually see other brands. We always have interesting discussions about the purchase process and delivery delays. My conclusion is that everyone loves their EV. Of course I never asked a Tesla owner since they don’t charge at EA.

In Maryland they are becoming semi-common. If I'm driving around for an hour I usually see one or two and there are a few in my town. Rare enough that I still get compliments and questions. I always give a to other MMEs and the one time I was close enough to see the driver he waved back. Sometimes I wave at other EVs but not Teslas. Nothing against Teslas, I just get the sense that there are a bunch of Tesla drivers unaware of the EV world outside of Tesla.

When I drive my Tesla, Tesla drivers wave to me. Don't know what's up with the MME drivers - they seem less friendly.

Today I was the first car stopped at a T intersection. No one, I mean no one around here has a Cyber Orange MME. I woman in a Rivian drove past, her gaze locked on my car the whole time. I waved emphatically like an idiot. It took her a second to process but she ended waving out the window after passing me by. Now that I think on it, maybe she thought I was someone she knew but did not recognize. Our choice in drivetrains might not have even crossed her mind

If she was ser hot, maybe she just couldn’t wrap her mind around why a stalker would be driving such a visible car.

I saw a total of 5 MMEs today driving around on various Silicon Valley highways.

As an example, here's CA-85 Camden Road exit .... I was enjoying the offramp this morning with my son, while a Space White GT was getting on CA-85 Southbound. Are you here?

There are a few K on the road here in NL, but the car is still a relatively rare sight. Still attracts some good attention and Mach E drivers tend to give each other a subtle nod on the road, like a ‘you have a good taste’ kind of nod. When I just got the car a year ago random people started convos at parking lots to ask about the car, that does not happen anymore.

Anyway, I still love the design compared to other similar size EVs such as the model Y, ID4, or even the EV6. Only thing is those skinny tires…

I’m with the other posters from New England…not a lot of them up here. I’ve seen a couple around me in central Mass, but it’s mostly just Teslas. I also don’t charge at public stations so never had the opportunity to come across them there. A friend of mine in NH recently bought an orange GT too though.

I consider myself a car person, but there is a zero percent chance I am ever waving at anybody just because they drive the same car I do. I am very happy I don’t like Wranglers, I’m not sure I could own one with all the other idiot Wrangler owners constantly waving at me. I do wave at other motorcycles when I’m on mine, but that’s a mutual respect and understanding that we are risking our lives to enjoy a hobby, not just because somebody bought the same Ford as me and 100k other people.
