I have had my MME GT for less than 24 hours. Love it BTW. Anyway this morning I walked out of Chick-fil-A, bag in hand, opened the frunk and dropped the food in. I heard someone on the patio say “did he just put his food under the hood?” And someone else with the said “Is that a [insert pause] …oh it is”.

including mine I have only seen 6 of them before. Rare in these parts.

Wait,. Did you use a fob to access the frunk?

I went out this morning to run some errands. At a stop light I saw a dirt-covered Rapid Red MME. It looked like a tan car with red overspray all over it. I waved but I don’t think the driver could see me through the dirt.

I smiled at another Mach-E driver the other day and she smiled back! Naturally my husband rolled his eyes and my 7 year old was confused why I cared that someone smiled at me but whatever lol... Also, only the second time seeing another woman driver here in NJ...other one I saw was in NYC (I was walking...smiling might have been weird)

I would wave back. I’ve only had mine for 11 days, and have not passed another in this vehicle - I seen some on the road but when driving another vehicle. I previously drove a bolt, no one ever waved back

I retract my previous statement. It seems like since I posted I don’t see them often, they all started appearing out of nowhere. I’ve been seeing about 1-2 MMEs a day now in Walnut Creek.

I got my first Mach E wave back today. I was so excited, so were the driver and passenger in the other Mach E.

So far I'm 2/4 on waving and getting a wave back. The other 2 just looked confused and wondered who is this douche?

I am in CT on the weekends. Colleague at work just got a GT too and lives in Darien. So more of us around!

That's what frunk means... food trunk!! LOL My husband does it all the time in his Tesla and gets the strangest looks. It's pretty funny.

As a side note, we saw a MME not too long ago on a road trip in the Tesla and gave them a thumbs up and waved as we passed each other. They were checking out the Tesla for some reason. I think my husband is going to be jealous that I will have a cooler vehicle if/when my order ever shows up (just ordered a '23). He already wants to have the Tesla wrapped in Grabber Blue.

If ya'll are ever south of the Atlanta Airport, I'll gladly wave from either vehicle!!

I have charged at that Walmart in Newport News several times! Here is me waving hello!

Yesterday there was a Leaf and an EQS charging when I stopped there. An Ioniq 5 was just leaving. Unfortunately, most of the charging stations were unavailable or slow.
