Normally I'd say 32amps would annoy me but MaCh-E LiFe HaS GoT tHe DeRaTiNgS so I'm actually looking to move down to 24 amps...
In fairness, sounds more like 160-degree garage life. :)

Have you ever considered getting into BBQ? Your garage is the perfect temperature to rest a brisket. :)

Bummer, SRP doesn't like the Emportia because it doesn't talk to their load demand system. I wasn't aware they were getting feedback from the units but sure enough, my meter gets it somehow and sends it to them. I'm thinking protocol mismatch.

Very interesting, Erik. Didn't know the utility companies get feedback from EV chargers. Learn something new every day.

do they have a list of the ones they do support (and give credits for)? many currently available do have an app-adjustable current setting. enel x's juicebox, wallbox's pulsar plus, etc.

my utility primarily wanted energy star certification and "smart" - which meant wifi connected.

I have a ChargePoint flex. It’s Wi-Fi and when you install it you set it for 50or 40 amp CB. You can also direct wire it to a 60 amp CB.
