Glacier Gray. It certainly takes on different shades depending on the light.

Wow the wheel setup looks beefy. Curious what the specs are on that. Looks great and is this lowered too?

First let me say that I'm hyper sensitive to rattles. That being said, I've been noticing a rattle from the rear seat/cargo area for some time now. I also noticed that it seems to go away when I have rear seat passengers and when I sat in the back trying to find it while my wife was driving. I took all of the panels off the inside of the lift gate looking for it to no avail. Finally today I removed the rear seat cushion and found the two cables going to the seat belt buckles resting on the metal sheet metal underneath. I used gorilla tape to more firmly secure them and low and behold- one rattle gone! Still a few left but thought I'd try to help someone else if they are as anal as me!

When I was driving home from having the HVBJB recall work performed I noticed a strange rattle that happened during acceleration and braking. It sounded like there was a screw laying in one of the door storage compartments.
It turned out to be the bottle cap from battery coolant was loose in the empty frunk.

perhaps this is a stupid question, how do you detach the cushion and how do you fully reattach it without creating additional rattle? I’ve got what I believe to be the same thing. Every time I go over a slightly bumpy road, a pothole, or a speed bump I get a seriously annoying rattle. I’ve had my kids try to find it from the back with no luck. I believe it started when I went to Costco and lowered my rear seats for extra trunk space.
Please let me know.
thanks

Does anyone else get wind noise through driver window? Any easy fixes over take it to the dealer?

I have some on my '24 with <5k miles. I did notice a bit of trim/seal between the sunroof and body right above drivers door on front of the car that looks like it wasn't fully installed, or mis-installed - may be related. Will need to have dealer look at it the first time I have it in for service (10k, I'd assume).

Hi there! I can look into your Mach-E's noise concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Mach-E's VIN?

Adding sound deadening to the doors helps quite a bit. I do both Dynamat on the outer door skin and then 1/4" closed cell foam Dynaliner over that to eliminate all echo and reverberation to the inside of the door. The bass from the door speakers is so much cleaner. After that add a decent sub and you are done. I swear this '24 I am working on sounds better than my '21 did before I upgraded the audio system. Maybe because that amp is different? It has better bass and the system seems to play louder.
Mark, I have a question about sound deadening the MME's doors. The only pictures I've seen with the door card removed show a large black plastic panel in the center. Did you cover that panel or did you remove it and apply the Dynamat to the inside of the outer door skin?

You don't need to apply Dynamat to the black plastic panel (window regulator). Dynamat only works on metal and yes, it is applied to the inside of the outer door skin. Then apply Dynaliner 1/4" foam on top of the Dynamat. The Dynamat will deaden the metal door skin and when you close your car door, will sound very solid. Will also greatly reduce any vibrations from the speaker. The Dynaliner foam will greatly reduce any echo/reverberation from the audio that come from the back part of the speaker. You can get to most of the area you need to just by removing the speaker and placing your entire arm inside. You can also remove part of the window regulator to get to other areas. I don't like removing the window regulator entirely but can easily be done. DM me for more info if you want.

Yes, I would consider myself just as anal.

I have recently identified the rattles in the from of my Mach-e to be the sliders for adjusting the air vents. One slider is quite stiff to adjust but all the others are loose and easily rattle side to side by a mm or two. Does anyone have any idea how to tighten up this mechanism?

Thanks.

A quick update -

I recently tore my hatch apart and added Dynamat to the floor. I also ripped out that pesky white fabric sub cover that was buzzing like mad! The base from the rear sub, and overall sound is much cleaner. Next project is Dynamat on the door skins to tighten up the sound from those speakers.

Oh, I also replaced the cheap plastic tie-downs with the metal ones.?
