Ordered 2/19/22 - 1 "Order-Delayed" e-mail from Ford 4/7/22, 26 weeks in & crickets.

I see some GT Orderes that didn't have the battery upgrade etc. that were placed after me were already delivered. I confirmed my order number with Ford support, my Dealer doesn't know anything. Should I just expect to wait another 6 months?

I think it has something to do with allocation numbers. I could be wrong but ordering through a dealer with higher allocations might be why some get their cars faster. I have had my order in since last November and just found out today that it is built and being prepared for shipping. There are a lot of people on this forum who ordered after me and have had their cars for a while now (same spec cars ordered).

I would think you should get a build date pretty soon. Have you logged in to your Ford.com account recently?

I have been checking my Ford account once a week. It doesn't even show my order but I have confirmed my order number. They said it won't be linked until I get a build date.

Doesn’t all GT’s have an upgraded battery as standard?

This is a standard email that ford will send out every couple of months for open orders. I just got one event through mine was recently built.

Going through the Ford account I set up did not work. Even after I got the email saying the car was schedule for production the Ford account did not even show the order. I think it must have been attached to the dealership.

I ordered 2/7/22 SEL AWD SR and it was built Wednesday.

I had heard nothing at all, so I emailed the GM of Future Ford of Concord, who had placed the order. He could not tell me anything, but mysteriously a few days later Ford sent the email that it was scheduled to be built.

Sorry to hear yours has not been scheduled yet. But keep the faith, i think you must be close...

Just got a text from my sales rep. Ordered 2/19/22, build week 10/10/22.
