I just got 2.1.0 last week.
Same here. I just got 2.1.0 OTA as well. I've got a Job 1 car (built 12/2020). I wonder if the build date is a factor in the timing of the OTA updates. My car is going in tomorrow for the windshield and panoramic glass recalls, as well as the Blue Cruise activation (21G01) so presumably it will be updated to 2.5.x?

It will update it to the equivalent of getting through 2.5.3, but it won’t say that in the system update screen. Those numbers are only associated with OTA updates.
Also, before your dealer does anything make sure they update their laptop with the latest version of the FDRS software they use. Otherwise all the updates might not come through.

That's interesting. I will make sure to mention that. Thanks!

My last OTA was on 04/19/21 while in Northern NJ. I am back in FL now. My version is 2.4.5. Job1 Premium RWD std batt. All my OTAs were received without connected to any WiFI while on my road trip to NJ, DE & PA.

Same for me, although with my car in the shop this week the dealership is going to install the suite of updates that wakens Blue Cruise. They've done this for multiple cars and they said it typically takes about 5 hours from start to end. I'm not sure Ford is volunteering this in-the-shop update for any owner, but with mine getting a HVBJB replacement, they're doing me a favor and getting me the latest update.

Sounds like you might be in for a bad time. It will almost certainly take them longer than 5 hours.

Check out this thread. The update is available to anyone who doesn't want to wait for the OTA.

I've heard a few horror stories from some MME owners, but our dealership has a lot of local MMEs and they've done the download a ton of times without incident (at least once they figured it out). I'm going to be cautiously optimistic that they have a lot more practice than the average dealership. The service tech told me today that they've done the last few updates in about 5 hours.

I had my car (GT) in service this week. Suposedly did all the non OTA recalls and updates on the printout. Still on Sync 1.7.6 after all that. It doesn't seem like any OTA updates are planned for the job 2 cars anytime soon at all..

There have been no sync updates to job2 cars yet. Coming this summer sometime.

That’s where everyone else is too. 2.3.0 is the most recent power up for non early access cars. Early access cars have gotten 2.4.1 and up as a test roll out
For blue cruise.
Yep, and today at the F-150 Lightning launch, Farley said "Every day it will change". Well, so far it hasn't and won't. This is an area that Ford needs to improve. Not talk about improving, but actually improving the experience.

I've dealt with not getting regular updates over the air, but there's a very minor thing that annoys the crap out of me. I got one tiny OTA update about a month or so ago. I have the update checkmark notification next to the Mach E icon on my display ever since telling me that YOU GOT AN UPDATE! but there's no way that I can find to clear it. I just want it to go away. It's like a phone notification in the task tray that I can't get rid of. It's entirely a first world problem, but it annoys me

Edit: Side question to anyone who cares to reply (very stupid question, I'm sure), but does the dealer charge to come in and update all the modules if I don't need them to do anything else? I have a few that need updating and I don't want to do the FDRS myself. Is that covered work? Do I just call up and say I want my modules updated?

Did you "tap" the check mark? If not, do so........it will tell you what was updated and then you can click install. After that, it will go away.

If you already "tapped" it, then I am of no use......sorry

ha, all good. Yeah, I did and got that message. The icon still persists and now when I tap on it, it does nothing

Courtesy of today's F150 Lightning launch, we have good news for the MME:
  • The Lightning will ship with a new charging-locator map that identifies fast chargers and allows users to report broken or malfunctioning charging stations.... That new charger-locator interface will eventually come to the Mustang Mach-E, which is due for a major software update later this year that will refresh the entire interface displayed on the screens in the car. Farley likens it to an iPhone update, saying “the whole UX is going to change.”
